Dark0ne
Hi there,

First of all thanks for taking the time to report a bug with the file system. Please make sure you read this to help me out in sorting your problem sooner.

When making a bug report please include the following in a new forum post:
  • The address of the page that you're experiencing problems on
  • An overview of what you're attempting to do
  • Any errors you received

I'm extremely busy so please be patient when waiting for a response.

Thank you.

RightHandofGod
I have had this problem before this but it hasn't really bothered me until now because now it is on a larger scale. Before I found some files that had screenshots of the mod but that was with only a few files. Now every file I look at that has screenshots won't load them. When I look where it has a description of the mod it shows the screenshot but when I click the picture to get a larger version of it I get this message:

Warning: mysql_connect(): Access denied for user: 'tes@localhost' (Using password: NO) in /home/tes/public_html/files/functions.php on line 300

Warning: mysql_select_db(): Access denied for user: 'tes@localhost' (Using password: NO) in /home/tes/public_html/files/functions.php on line 301

Warning: mysql_select_db(): A link to the server could not be established in /home/tes/public_html/files/functions.php on line 301

Warning: mysql_query(): Access denied for user: 'tes@localhost' (Using password: NO) in /home/tes/public_html/files/image.php on line 6

Warning: mysql_query(): A link to the server could not be established in /home/tes/public_html/files/image.php on line 6

Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/tes/public_html/files/image.php on line 7

Warning: mysql_query(): Access denied for user: 'tes@localhost' (Using password: NO) in /home/tes/public_html/files/functions.php on line 106

Warning: mysql_query(): A link to the server could not be established in /home/tes/public_html/files/functions.php on line 106

Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/tes/public_html/files/functions.php on line 107

Warning: mysql_query(): A link to the server could not be established in /home/tes/public_html/files/functions.php on line 110

So I was just wondering if it is just me or the site.
Dark0ne
Fixed. Thanks.
RightHandofGod
Thanks for fixing that. I have also found another one, sorry, when I am looking at a page with mulitple files. I don't know the exact files but I know one, when I go to the "All Files" page each of the files have this message over them:

Warning: mysql_connect(): Access denied for user: 'tes@localhost' (Using password: NO) in /home/tes/public_html/files/functions.php on line 42

Sorry I just feel bad that I am the only one reporting these.
Anyways I just thought that you would want to know about this also.
Please get to this whenever you can I know you are very busy.
Thanks.

My problem is whenever I go to the "Add Files" link, it says the page isnt found.

Whenever I try to download a mod file larger than 2mb I am asked to login even though I already am. I then login again and try to download again, but it asks me to login again.

What page is it sending you to?

I don't see image thumbnails. Therea are still borders and image count, and I can click on them to get the full screen image. Anyway, I didn't have this problem last week. I am sorry if this is something you already working on. Also, I am sure it's not my settings, because this kind of change is only on this site.
Berzdex
I see no thumbnails but the full images seem to be there when you click :~/
Dark0ne
The thumbnails should now show properly.

This page's source code is cut off. It ends
<div class="file_box" sty
and doesn't actually link the mod, show the number of downloads, or have the advertisement bar. This actually appears to be happening with a fair number of pages... is it just something kooky user-side? It's never happened to me prior to tonight. I use Firefox, if that helps.

Other pages it's happening with:
http://www.tessource.net/files/cache/4492.html
http://www.tessource.net/files/cache/4843.html
http://www.tessource.net/files/cache/4490.html (all 3 of these are mods by the same person, but their fourth mod's page works fine)
McLoud
I have a problem with the "Add a comment" feature beneath the mod page. After I hit the submit button, a message appears: "No file tid specified". Happened on http://tessource.net/files/file.php?id=5923
Dark0ne
I have reset the cache to see if it fixes it.

I have reset the cache to see if it fixes it.

The second link to sort the search results by downloads is broken, it refers to the all.php instead of search.php and therefore lists all available mods instead of the search results.

There are NO Downlink icons on any Oblivion mods.
I'm using Opera, but MSIE does the same thing.

I thought the mods were hosted here for downloads?

I don't know if this has been mentioned before, and it hasn't affected uploading a file or anything as far as I can tell, but the site gives me a php error on completion of an upload:

Warning: chmod(): No such file or directory in /home/tes/public_html/files/members_edit.php on line 128

I've noticed it a few times now as I've been updating one or two of my mods and thought you might wish to know about it if you didn't already. My files still upload correctly despite this error.

I dont know if someone has mentioned these before but anyways:

First, on the search bar when you type something there and press enter, it dosent find any mods.
Sometimes i download some mods (big ones) it takes me to the page and i start the download but it will close it and dosent finish the load, only a part for it. I dont know if its me (i have Internet Explorer 7.0 if i remember right and pretty slow connection) or the page.
If you write a comment it dosent put it there always.
Well.... Thats was all. C u later

about the back button - navigating this site is a real pain

It's not really a bug, but it's confusing:
Could you please edit the pages to have more descriptive browser titles? It's hard to go through the browser's history if all the pages have the same name.
I'm currently using a Greasemonkey script that changes the title to "TESS: My Mod Name" but I think this would be helpful to other people as well.
Berzdex
It seems the Comments are not updated from the Forum Thread.

EDIT: OK they seem to have updated but on another note, quotations are not colour distinguished in the Comments on the main file page. This has been so since Comments below the file description was implemented. Thanks

I guess you can't have your cake and eat it too as they say ...

I was looking through my uploaded mods, and when I clicked the "Sort by Downloads" thingie, instead of resorting the current page, it sorted ALL FILES by downloads.

I had that too. A little annoying because you can't easily see which mod of a certain author was downloaded the most. I can live without it, but it shouldn't be that hard to change.

Hi,

People trying to download my mod at http://www.tessource.net/files/file.php?id=7633 are getting a white page, no download...

I tried it myself, same result.

I have problems with a couple of my pages now. This one http://www.tessource.net/files/file.php?id=8070
list Fraps under file requirements, when in fact it doesn't and I never entered that. I tried to edit it but I don't see the entry in the edit page.

This one has missing information, with a message about an error in the database. http://www.tessource.net/files/file.php?id=8028 Refreshing the page doesn't help.

NM Second one look okay now.

Somone please help. I'm trying to download mods, and I have been registered and doing so for awhile, but now when I try to download a mod it keeps saying my account had been banned or removed.
What? How can I be banned? I verified my email and have not done a single thing wrong. This has to be some kind of error.
Somone please look into this. sad.gif

Try logging out and in again.

For this file of mine http://www.tessource.net/files/file.php?id=8967 I am having issues uploading photos. The order I try to upload them is not recognized, so the picture I would like to be first isn't first no matter what order I upload them. I tried to re-do it a few times, but now I am getting this error and cannot upload any images now.

Sorry but there is no file with ID#8967. If you followed a link to this location then the link was wrong.-1.jpg

The delete button next to that image name doesnt work and will not let me delete it.

The bugged image is still there, when I try to delete it , the page refreshes and the image is still there. On the actual page it is an empty black box.

Well the allow cookies for this site stopped the me not signing in..But now when I go to files, like say mods, and try to frist click on Oblivian- go to..I can go to mods, but , then it logs me out, despite I added each site page to allow in cookie management..When I just click go to Oblivian HP.. I get this message..Warning: fopen(http://www.tessource.net/files/category.php&caching=true) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! Hi darkone.I uploaded today a modders ressources and when members want to download they only have a blank page.
Here is the link to my mod
http://www.tessource.net/files/file.php?id=9826

I tried several times to re-upload it but nothing changes even if I put an other version number.

Thx in advance and thank you for this great site
Dark0ne
Hi Sinblood,

I think I've found the problem; there's an apostrophe in your filename (the actual file you're uploading from your PC). Windows allows it but Linux hates it, and the server is linux.

I think I've added a quick fix for this so please try reuploading WITH the apostrophe in to see if it fixes it. If it doesn't, remove the apostrophe and you should be good to go!

Sorry for the problems, I was working on the upload function yesterday and it obviously still needs some tweaking.

When I add a third mirror to my mod (Link) one of the previous mirrors get deleted. I can't seem to find a way to add all three mirrors. Also, I can't add a '-' in the file name even though the error page kept saying that '-' is one of the characters that you can have there.

Edit: It seems when I update any mod, it removes one of the file mirrors. So if there are three mirrors then I end up with two and if there are only two I end up with one.

Hey

Download error with this mod

http://www.tessource.net/files/file.php?id=6900

Complains that no filename was given.

EDIT: Now it downloads the wrong mod. Seems to download Sadrith Mora Closed City
