Look at the bright side, Kate... at least now you have Tribunal!
But yes... Tribunal is an EXPANSION pack for MW... not the full game. Truly though, I feel your pain.

Could always get yourself a no cd patch, only if you own the cd of course. <saying that to cover my own ass>

HA HA HA! I have a virtual disk drive! I only need to make a virtual disk of the game/cd/dvd in question and i never need the CD agian! I can rent a game, make a virtual disk, return the game, and presto a new game for $3!* I bought the software for like $30. Yay for me!
* I own all the games I have VDs of, I don't rent and return, that is a possability not my choosen action.

Bastard. You don't respect Bethesda and your local computer software retailer to pay full price for the game? Shame on you.

Well, I wouldn't blame him if he does it with EA or M$ games. EA = M$ = satan

What about Rise of Nations?
(For those that have this game, have you ever noticed how the MS logo looks strangely like a swarm of locusts descending upon the planet?)

Well true, but there are some decent people and developers that got sucked up by those corperate mongers. Such as Chris Taylor, the man behind Dungeon Siege, which is really a pretty decent Action game. Though I will never forgive Microsoft for buying up Bungi and thus depriving me of Halo, which was being designed for PCs in the first place!!!
As for EA... bleh. Yeah, they rather suck. But then again many of their games have been decent, only by virtue of the developers whom I do support.

I notice that you say Dungeon Siege is an Action game and not an RPG. Good description.

lol yeah it is sadly. they call it an RPG but really it is just a glorified action game, - the ravine jumping.
neways, how did someones anguish over not being able 2 play morrowind turn into this??

Well, the discussion of pseudo-warez disk copying by Laser helped to transition this thread quite a bit.
And regarding Dungeon Siege... I regard it as more of a graphics demo than an actual game.

Well indeed, I saw Dungeon Siege as an action game due to the lack of actual roleplaying, and would describe it much more hack&slash aka Action, as opposed to roleplaying. Though it does have elements that are commonly found in roleplaying games.
Diablo and Diablo II are other examples of this, or games I would call Action... or maybe... Action RPG. *shrugs* All though I followed the story of the Diablo series and read intensivly on it, so I found it to be a rich experiance to some extent.

Not to mention what happened to Freelancer... It was supposed to be 4 CDs, and they cut out the high-res textures, cutscenes, voices etc etc, to fit it on one!
And we all know what happened to Origin...
