Hi all, I've recently just stated to fly, well try at least. Mogambo helped me out with the ground bombing with some great tips. Now i'm getting pretty good at that. I was woundering if any of your expert fly boys could give any tips on how to loose a tail from a pursuing jet? This seems to be where I get shot down 90 percent of the time. I've tried banking sharp left and right etc, but not a great tactic.
I dont understand how the AA could have been less effective pre 1.2 patch. Its fairly easy to take out AA with the cannon before more cannon and bombs on target, even on the ESSEX.

Any flying tips would be greatly appriciated.

Thanks Gambo for the PLANEWHORE, and thanks archer for your constructive input. I watched some of PLANEWHORES videos and it was interesting to see that he very rarely got hassled by enemy jets, and when he did he does a bit of loop the loop to the side, and then carries on bombing the hell out of ground targets and choppers. I'll keep trying different moves to loose those pesky pursuing jets.

And IMO CSS sucks, for a pure infantry game the inability to lean around corners or prone makes it total donkey crap. The hitboxes on that game are the size of Jupiter. Ive seen people get headshots with the choice noob weapon AWP when they have actually shot 2 inches to the left/right of them! seriously wtf?

And is it me that doesnt understand why i have to BUY weapons?! Just give me the fookin gun i want and let me kill people damit. Oh and its the fav game of myg0t...that says it all.

I've been playing on Bamboo Commandos (85.236.101.9:16665), 50Klicks (85.236.101.109:16567) one called ‘9 rounds Gulf of Oman’ (where I've been practicing my flying techniques) and on some of the ‘TV2’ servers. None are as good as the old GS server. Nobody seems to use VOIP or play in squads anymore, unless you're in a clan which i dont have the time for.

He sometimes plays on The Bamboo Commandos server or rather Bamboo Clowns is more apt.....as they banned me yesterday! As "i artied the carrier 3 times" Bullsh!t.

I saw your post Ant, and if you dont know watch the BC guys more closley as....

They kick to get jets
They kick to get the attack helos
They kick to get armour (Mashtuur, Sharqi and Karkand)
They dystroy aircraft so non clowns dont have access
They kick the commander to let in an admin.....yeah real subtle
They stand in front of jets to force TK's
They baserape contrary to their own rules

I started to take screenshots of them as they are contravening the terms and conditions of ranked servers....i have a good mind to submit them to bf2rankedservers...dont know if i can be arsed.

My advice is to steer clear.....50 Klicks and the SAS clan are better servers....i only used to play on BC as commander as it was pointless getting into hardware.

I also found out the hard way that some of these clowns are complete w*nkers. A couple kicked me for getting in the jet. One told me to 'OUT NOW', he then got blew up by arty, i took off and he kicked me. Ar8e!

I dont go on there for getting in jets, only for infantry squad play. Also then dont have Game VOIP enabled. The TV2 servers are usually full of noobs and are good for playing lonewolf in a tank etc. Last time i played 50K, they only played 1 round per map, which is a downer as my system takes sooo long to load a new map. I'll try the SAS server.

Seems you somewhere along the line made it to complain even more, lie even more, as we do not. I can honestly say here that you are talking bull*hit as usual, which you have been doing towards players on our server, and on our forums. You do need to learn that talking crap about us doesn't help.

We follow our rules, and the second I see a clanmember not doing it, I remove his or her admin rights.
EA, Dice, Multiplay.co.uk cannot complain about our rules, as we pay a s*hitload for the server, they can't and won't complain as long as we do not hack the system files for the server.

Despite your whining and complaining, you still play at our server? Is this hipocracy? I don't understand why you talk crap about us in every forum you gain access to, and then still come back to play with us.

Butcher, you really, really don’t know your admins very well, because they HAVE kicked me twice within a couple of days for beating them to a jet or winning a 50/50 hold down the E key until the plane appears lottery. There is no BS about this.

You have never given me the rules of your server, or not what I've noticed. I have never seen a rule saying I can’t try and get in a jet because it has an admins name on it.

As i said, I stopped trying to get a jet/helo on BC server now because it will most likely lead to a kicking and life is too short for that. And no, I’ve not played on your server for a couple of weeks as am currently learning to fly, and along with the fight to get a jet, the TK'ing, punishing for standing in front of jets and base raping, i dont need being kicked by admins (admittedly, not all these happen on your server, but being kicked by admin for taking HIS jet ceryainly does).
I have only had a problem with a few of your members, and most are okay people whom I've text chatted with a few times. Shame the clan is let down by a couple of power crazed members really.

Okay, this may be complaining, but there are no lies or BS. You need to take another close look at some of your admins if you think they are all innocent.

Tell me if I wrong, but an admin using his admin power to kick a player becuase they want the jet does make the admin a wan*ker.

Well, the weirdest thing here is that you all keep coming back... And I do my very best trying to keep admins to follow rules, heck, I removed 3 peoples admin rights last week.

What is this forum anyway? A whiners quest to glory? You are mainly 2 people whining and complaining 24 hours a day about our server, and then you come back to us and play. I won't keep any of the material posted here a secret from my clanmembers, they deserve to know that their actions have consequenses.

What "facts" have Mogamba laid out? He lies as much as he talks crap. The first picture of your "power of whining" post only shows 2 members killing a couple of people... Their skill with a plane is just positive and is in no way any evidence for them abusing the rules.

If you had the brains enough to read our rules, you would know that attacking uncaps are only allowed with planes, but I guess you don't have the time to do that, you are to busy complaining and being a hipocrat.

2) A guy asking them to move? Anus kicking him to get the plane? A minor offense agains't the rules, and I've told him, but can you prove that he kicked him for that? Or is that just your magnificent intuition? For all you, or I, know, he could have been baseraping, badmouthing, hacking or whatever.

You have proved that they attacked the uncap base by plane, which is allowed, you have proved yourself a fool.

3) A guy did something that he might have done twenty times will Anus did it once. You have no evidence whatsoever! And a guy even suggest his ping, which our "anti-high-ping filter" would kick him for, as usual, you can't prove anything.

There is no specification of what they did, bring me some evidence of that.

5) Ramm has had his admin rights revoked before of this, unless you have some MS Paint skills this is true. First evidence, congratulations. But at what date did this occur?

6) Huellia is clan co-leader because she pays most of this server, and as far as I can see from your pictures, they are on your team... Is your point that they are destroying planes for fun? Oh no, what a horrible crime!

7) Btw, that title; Mr Butcher, sounds really good, thanks for that Mrs Mogambo. All I see from your beloved screenshots is MidgetMilitia telling a guy to get out of their main... Is there any point of this number 7 complaint? You didn't even, as usual, prove that BC baseraped.

Last) Telling a guy to get out and keep flying around in the air until he does, that isn't agains't the rules, but you never read them so you wouldn't know! You can't even prove if they kicked him.

The only point affecting our server is this:

"3 LOCAL (PRIVATELY RENTED) RANKED SERVER RULES MODIFICATIONS

These rules are decided by clan administrators for those servers and as long as they do not contradict any global rules enforced by EA are considered valid for those servers.

We did modify it, read our rules. Everything about our server is legit, in all ways I can see. We are not "over zealous", we kick/ban people for reasons mentioned in our rules.

You have proved absolutely nothing, we are not abusing the server according to any of EAs rules. Your "domain", at that. I couldn't care if this was yours or George W Bushs domain! We do not expect to disband anytime soon... And you obviously have no idea what we require to get into our clan. You might be good at spamming your domain, but you clearly are unable to read others.
