The help file says the bedroll is "in a small cave near Anvil." That isn't much help. There are many small caves around Anvil, and I don't want to spend three hours trapsing around all of them looking for a bedroll.
Could you please either (1) provide the name of the cave or directions, or (2) mention the in-game code so that players can add this item by the console.
Thanks!

If it is possible try to add those bedrolls to NPC merchants (outfitters) - I dont know if it could collide with other mods which adds something to the same NPC
or make a new NPC ho will sell your items.

This guy has chosen a stupid location to place his bedroll. He placed it in a cave hidden in anvil castle! There is a secret switch that opens a new room in the castle, which leads to a door which is locked, and REQUIRES A KEY. This cave is part of the thieves guild quest and most likely on of the last. He has chosen that cave to place his bedroll in. You probably can't even get in it without completing half the thieves guild.
He didn't even mention what cave it was in in his readme. It was supposed to be near anvil... Nobody would even think about looking at anvil's castle then, and even then the cave is hidden so the chance you find it is even smaller.
Anyway, i've edited the file to place it behind the church. If anyone doesn't know how to edit the file themselves, you can send me a message and i'll send you mine.Edit July 07: I occasionally still get PM's, so I thought I'd just say this: For those who don't know how to add this bedroll through console, there's also
this mod (or
this,) which is quite similar. And my apologies for the 1 year old original post , which was a little rude.

why place the bedroll in such an obscure location? cant you just put it in the abandoned house in cheydinhal like every mod does. i'm not an expert pro at the console or anything , and my character is a total fugitive most of the time so the bedroll is a brilliant idea for me!

yea that was pretty stupid, no one would go through all that trouble just to get a bed roll.

Why can't you just forget the stupid (very stupid) quest and add it via the console? Shouldn't be that hard... right?

If you look at the release date of this mod youll see I released it less than a WEEK after Oblivion came out. This was one of THE first mods for the game EVER. As such of course its prone to be in a bad location.
There IS and always HAS been a quest in the mod the mod from the every first version to get it added to your inventory directly all you had to do was start the quest from the console.
Anyway glad you guys can knock on me and a mod a made over a year ago when this game was completely new congrats =D

nice job, I might just pack a bunch of realisim mods into a compilation, can I add this and perhaps the portable fire and tent?
and all of you whiners who complain about location, just go into the CS open oblivion.esm and this mod making this one active and find the bedroll, (in the object window) and go to a cell that you know where it is like the oak and crossier or a chapel or somethin and drag it from the object window into the reder window, press F and save the plugin then go to oblivion and pick the darn thing up!
or use the code "player.additem 01000CEA 1" in the console if you're lazy

This only got low ratings because of a bad location... that and people are a bit too lazy to learn simple CS editing...
