It's not that I'm saying you shouldn't do it I'm just saying I don't see how it can possibly fun to play the game that way. My nord is level 40 and i haven't had too much of a problem lately so i needed to up the difficulty. I was just wondering if someone can give me some insight as to what is fun about being level 435 and strength of 4500. Again as rude as that sounds I'm not trying to say you shouldnt do it, if you can do it and still find the game fun and callenging congrats and all the power to you. Just wondering what if any missions are fun and what do you do at that point?

I agree, after a while it has to be boring, when there is no challenge, my character is lvl 55 nord with a shield that heals 3 pts health every second, I am never hurt by anything, it got kind of dumb after that, no offense to anyone. Invincible is never fun in any game in my opinion, being able to see how good you get after beating the game, sure, but it spoils game play if everything dies when you look at.

an uber powerfull charactor isnt fun most of the time. sad.gif Although I do like uber powerfull spells. I also like constant effect items. Especialy night eye. I have to have a constant effect night eye ring. The only thing I don't like about this game is the fact that it's too dark everywhere. I hate not being able to see. you would think that after a while your charactors eyes would become acustomed to the light and you would see better but NOO dark dark dark drives me nuts! excl.gif

Way I see it, some people like Superman, some like Indiana Jones.

Personally I like Indiana Jones...

...when he was younger.

About it being too dark, I think that is one of the best parts of the game. Forces you to bring a torch around with you. The mod I'm working on (Ravenhold Castle) is darker on the insides so lights have more of an effect. I will probably release another version later on with less of that, but I like it like that.

I made one of said uber-powerful characters.

At lvl. 1, this character had completely normal stats... except for a speed of 5000, which pretty much acts as a short range teleport spell. Point, go forward, and you're there, no matter how far away you are.

Sure, it was funny as hell for like 5 minutes, and then it got boring. Cheats are fun, but they ruin games.

I have two characters on the game right now. One I play legit with no cheats and the other with some cheats. The non-legit character I use 100% night eye, with soul trap on self. All stats are 500 except for speed, which is at 200. I still get beat up , but I know that cheating would make my game experience less enjoyable. I use the CE night vision so I never have to use the spell, or a torch. Forgot, I also use Feather with soul trap at 100% about 100 times so I can carry stuff. I did the feather spell at the beginning of the game so I can carry 50 Ordinator armor and weapons to sell to the crab man. Then I use the money to raise my stats and skills to 100. I usually spend about 100 days selling items before I actually start doing quests.

I prefer semi-god like characters in the beginning so that I don't die from rats and what not. But when I start getting better equipment I reduce the cheats so that by the time I'm halfway through the game (main quest) I have only like one cheat on. I had a character that could kill anything with an iron dagger. It was fun in the beginning but ten minutes later it got boring.

Generally, I try to stay away from constant-effect Restore Health items, although my first CE item is generally a Restore Fatigue robe (currently Robe of Endless Rest). Another item I'll generally have enchanted is a Daedric Tower Shield with Fortify Skill: Block 45, which I ALWAYS call "Ward of Abernanit"*.

I've found that for high-level characters, (non-magical) stealth is far more difficult than combat.

I personally don't see the point of overtly planning a character in order to get max stats, at least not until you're already at a high level.

*I believe the book title should have been "Ward of Ebernanit", as Ebernanit is a MD shrine, and Abernanit is a small smuggler's cave.

I have a glitch, cool one.U will have to buy some kind of forfity attribute effect magic and buy a soultrap.Go to anybody that can spellmaking(the high elf in guild of mages is the best).Spellmaking like this:choose the effect(forfity attribute),select to forfity every attribute from 100 to 100,on self, duration for 2 secondevery attribute(without speed,if your speed to high,(1000+)the game will crash and it will be extremely hard to control).than in that spell too, make a soultrap, change from touch to target,duration:1,area:0.Than,name it and every time u cast the spell all your attribute go up 100 point FOREVER. cool.gif

I'm not teaching u,just sharing.Don't get the wrong idea.I respect people who have uber powe
rful.Mine lvl 10 but extremely strong biggrin.gif (Venra Jupiter is the name of my character, high elf)

I used to do it. Stregth of 4000 and junk. My current character is a level 100 Redguard with 100 on all major and minor stats, But I can't pick locks or use much magic, except for alchemy. I have 100 magic, 400 fatigue and 1032 hit points. I also play on 100 difficulty. All attributes are 100. I also wear cheap armor to increase the chance of death. Gaenor the wood elf killed me, and so did one of the Hands of Almalexia. Pretty fun.

I would still give my right nut for a 360 and Oblivion. lol
