This thing annoys me. I closed it last night as I was doing a defrag (like to close as many background apps as possible just to be safe), and now it's gone. It's done this before. It's there from the last driver installation until you close it, then it doesn't come back. And I have no idea where to find it again... so I was wondering if anyone here knew how to get it to run again. I've tried looking for folders in C:\ and Program Files but there's nothing. It's not under MSConfig start-up either. Kind of annoying as I've left AF and AA on 16x and 8x respectively and will probably want to scale them back in future...

Have you tried looking in your display properties - Properties->Settings->Advanced->Adapter or thereabouts?

I usually find mine there, but there is also a Nvidia desktop manager icon in my control panel ...

Unhelpful fix: get ATi.

Thanks, that got it. It's just not something I've tried to do before. ^^;

Yes Darky, thanks, but unfortunately ATi don't support AGP motherboards very well, and there's no way I can afford PCI-E at the moment. That's the only reason I returned to the dark side for my graphical needs... tongue.gif

Anyway, since my problem is solved, I'm locking this. Thanks again.
