OOC> Four groups have approached me saying they are nearly ready. There is no deadline on this you can leave for Oblivion right up to when the rpg is considered dead. Obviously those who are in it for the competition can stop after 17/3 just over a week away. However rather than get stuck wandering around a ruin, tavern or camp it ought to be more enjoyable to move on. I know that in international groups the time differences make posting spaced out. Don't worry, you will not be judged on number of posts but their quality. (A subjective matter I know but hopefully there is enough variation on the judging panel to eliminate individual bias).

The main thing we hope is that you all have some fun and maybe stay on to start/join some new rpgs after Oblivion has lost its immediate addiction.

RPG UPDATE 8

The three leaders are now standing in prominent positions waiting for the groups to approach. They say:

"All armour requested to be repaired has been repaired, all requests for weapons armour and other equipment honoured in so far as possible with what was asked for. We will check the equipment lists to see you haven't stolen anything or been fooled by any illusion. Then when you ask we will send you close to the rift. The jouney is unpleasant as the magic of Oblivion warps our magic. You will therefore be met and escorted immediately to a transit camp where you must rest. This will not be an option as our representatives have enough power to command you to rest. It will seem as no time to you but it should remove all - well - we hope all - of the effect of Oblivion on the transportation."

You cannot miss the qualification in those words.

"Once you have rested each group will be sent to an area suffering the depredations of the hosts of Oblivion. While the destinations themselves may differ the goal will be the same. The most powerful daedra minions have set up their own bases from which they rage against humanity but also against each other. Your job will be to reach and eliminate the beast who claims control. That you will have to fight their underlings is inevitable but if the controlling force is defeated they will flee back to Oblivion and so are not important. Our represenatives will tell you what they can of the one in charge where you are sent. To give you the best chance we will be putting you with other groups who have different skills. So get to know them quickly to maximise the use of these skills. Your numbers will be between six and eight. You will be able to ask questions of our representatives in the transit camps but then you will be on your own. There will be no opportunity to replace anything used or broken. The weapons used by the daedric horde are cursed and we as yet have found no way to remove the curse. To anyone with good observation skills you may be lucky enough to chance on a hidden stash of weapons the daedra have not uncovered. Don't count on it. Now please present yourselves."
