Make a pillow fort, but this time with the special hospital pillows mod! This way you can actually stand on them, instead of just walking through them. You will actually be safe in your pillow fort this time! smile.gif

You can download it somewhere in this thread:
http://forum.gamingsource.net/index.php?showtopic=16151

(my idea for the mod, and how to do it, and Marxist ßastard made the scripts and so)

Enjoy the pillow fort building, i do.

Firstly, DON'T EVER SAY YOU ARE BORED OF MORROWIND! And secondly, i normally screw up the game by using too many console commands and then go and screw up the storyline or something by batting Dagoth Ur on the head with an iron club and instantly killing him lol. OR you could become an outlaw and loot people's houses/corpses/relatives pockets etc... biggrin.gif
Vaanic~One
When I get bored of Morrowind, I stop playing the game. Then someone makes a really good mod for it, and start playing again. Then I get bored again....and the cycle goes on.

Go vampiric/werewolf and go hunt people at night. That's what I do when I'm bored of playing normally. smile.gif

Here's an idea:
Ramp up the difficulty to 100, then put Vivec, all the Dagoths and Almalexia in the Vivec arena. And if that isn't enough, do it without clothes and an Iron Spider Dagger. laugh.gif

Yay! 100th post! Yay!

I suggest trying the Wizards Islands mod. It is 600 MB to download, but it is supposed to be really good. Try it out.

Why not play another game? Or write in the Never ending story? tongue.gif

When I'm bored with Morrowind, I go play a different game... or even go do something away from the computer. If you're that obsessed with the game that even when you're bored with it you can't stop playing, you need to get some professional help. You're addicted if the game is your entire life.
Adras
I was playing Neverwinter Nights for a while and I liked it. If you are going to play something else, I suggest that, Black & White (2), or something like Half-Life 2 (and mods). Infact, I just beat Half-Life 2 for the second time tonight. That was fun.

What I do when I get bored is PLAY OBLIVION!!!! No I'm just joking, I don't even have it but my game-addicted friend does. What I do is fas I can go and then fall and try to catch myself by levitating again. But then I get bored with it and make potions like ice cream. ph34r.gif

Well, once you are done with morrowind, you could always move on to oblivion, where there is a fresh new storyline (all though i found the storyline too short) it is very interesting. Or you could take up modding yourself and create something that would liven the game up for you.
Anebrd
When I get bored in Morrowind (which is rare) I either switch characters or Ill add a couple of mods.
whatukno
ok I made a mestake, I posted this to annother section. sorry everyone tongue.gif

Your bored???? Try this

Take your charactor over to Molog Mar, Brutaly slaughter every single person in the whole place. Clean the place up. Then start kidnaping charactors, creatures ETC from all over morrowind.

heres how I did it.

go to a spellmaker and have them make you a command humanoid/creature 100 levels for 30 seconds.

take this spell and use it three times on the charactor you want (it takes practice to get it right) you should then have a NPC that will follow you endlessly. Take this charactor back to molog mar (or wherever you call home) and set them up where you want them.

Use recall to warp yourself somewhere else (preferably close by but somewhere where the game has to load the interior of.) go back and keep your eye on the charactor you just kidnaped. rest (autosave) and the charactor may dissapear. then Load that autosave and your newly kidnaped merchant or creature will be a permenant fixture in your new home.

I collected a few cool charactors like creeper, the scamp that gives out sujama in the daedric ruin to the east of dagon fell, both dremora from tel arun, some various merchants, councelors, ETC

Bonus points awarded for getting all three stripers from Suran, the steam centurian from tel vos, and super duper double bonus for getting the last dwarf from the corpisarium.

or perhaps people in this post can start posting missions for other players to try.

also has anyone ever gotten all the lessons of vivec books? or have a link to where you could find all the books? laugh.gif
segasoulja
go to your favorite town and make a stack of pillows or clothes as tall as the highest building there... you'll need an enchantment that levitates you.
Samdude
I've got an Idea For bored oblivion players: when you are prompted to go with martin and jauffre to cloud ruler temple for the first time, dont. They will still follow you around, so you get a free invincible adventuring party, without all the hassle of all those command creature spells and stuff like that!

Except this is for if you're bored in Morrowind, not Oblivion. wink.gif Please pay attention to the topic of the thread you're posting in, thanks.

I just did this today and thought I'd post it here in case you're still bored.

In Balmora I came to one of those foot bridges and there were 2 Hlaalu guards on this bridge. Something possessed me to try to pick them off with the darts I just got from the Black Dart Gang in Mournhold. I loaded a set of darts and took the first guard down without too much trouble. Then I was out of darts as the second guard was on me, I had already chosen resist arrest, so I had to fight him and decided to see how long I could last against him with my bare hands.

I'm not sure how long the fight lasted, but it was long and comical. That guard never stood a chance. He would hit the ground and I would keep beating him. He would get up and almost imediately hit the ground again until I finally beat him to death, laughing as I did so.

My hand-to-hand skill is not very high as this is a skill I've always neglected (and undervalued). I think I'm going to go into Vivec and pick fistfights with the ordinators there to build my h2h and have a few laughs.

When i bored with x box morrowind i mod oblivion.Or play oblivion. Also play any game on Steam.

If i'm bored in MW, I usually shut my PC off and go outside. If I get bored in that game it means I've been playing my computer too much, so I'll go without for about two to three weeks or more.

Outside? I've heard of it. Isn't there a big ball that shines really bright there? And pointy tall brown things with green stuff coming out of it? And even small living things that move around? I've even heard that green stuff covers the ground!
DeathmatchTheTitan

Yeah, I think about going outside when I get bored, but I keep seeing cliff racers and then I go back in.

When I get really bored, I usually go around and steal everything I can. I also collect candles and lanterns. Don't know why, but I do. Once I went into Vivec and was attacked by the ordinators because I wore their sacred helm. So I cast water walk, jumped over the side and started casting a bunch of nasty spells at them. That attracted even more of them and after I finished slaughtering them, I made my way very carefully to the armourer in Mournhold and sold all the armour. Then I went back and paid my bounty off to the theives guild. I became a very rich Dark Elf that day and I was going to go and buy my own house until I realized that you could only do that in a mod. So I had to slaughter a few people until I found a house I liked.

I do have to admitt, tribunal scores pretty high in the "style" deparment.
SayajinDwarf
Tribunal is awesome! Especially because there's so much money to be made... I started out with about 4k and after a couple of quests, (which involved me finding a dead ordinator and getting his full set of armor), BOOM! I now have well over 200k and i'm about to hit the 300k mark very soon! laugh.gif

No, actually the Dark Brotherhood quest is more or less the prelude to the main quest in Tribunal.

What I like to do after all the quests are done is nuke the game and I don't mean sticking it in the microwave either wink.gif . It means alot of dungeon crawling. My character is definately a relic hunter. When it becomes boring I do something else like play another game. I've been switching back and forth from Morrowind to Oblivion alot with breaks in between.
I just don't go for the artifacts listed in the Artifacts of Tamriel book either, Dwermer cogs, plates, pitchers etc. are also considered artifacts to me.
Explore everything, you never know what you'll find. smile.gif

I once made a house out of books then pillows but nix hounds always tried to attack me in it and constructing a door does take a bit of time. Though i find it fun to fish with a bunch of fishing mods i have lying around.
Landsknecht
I made a mod that makes random bandits spawn in the wilderness and random thieves spawn in towns (made it before Oblivion, I was inspired by Bloodmoon), so I go around and kill a bunch of them. Usually kills enough time for me to remember what I loaded up Morrowind to originally do anyways.

Also, downloading a couple new mods is usually good for a few quests which can take up a few hours since I easily get side tracked.

Look for Daedric weapons,armor,and artifacts.

Go outside.
Or, Morrowind style, see how many creatures you can lure into a town before the local guard is overwhelmed.
