Ya know, I really like the idea of FOOK. I mean, it has a lot of improvements, yeah?

But, the problem is, there are some things that some people don't really like about it. There are upsides and downsides to it.

So I was thinking...

Maybe they can make the various parts of FOOK optional!

Ya know, like the parts of Mart's Mutant Mod or Phalanx, yeah?

Whether the parts of FOOK are downloaded separately or whether they're separated into different mods all in the same file (as is the case with Mart's Mutant Mod and Phalanx), I figure whichever is more convenient. With the latter, it's a very long download, but you can let it sit while you do something else. With the former, they're relatively short downloads, but you have to constantly monitor it to start the next download when the previous one ends, yeah?

Anyone else wanna see this happen?

One of the main problems with the big all-in-one mods is their all-or-nothing nature. It definitely helps when you divide a mod into its smallest possible parts and then simply let people choose what parts they want (and if they're up to it, they can combine those parts themselves).
