You could use the console to avoid killing them at all.

For the console you have two choices.

Open the console>Type Set stage Dark10Sanctuary 20

Also to the above, it could be a little buggy, so I suggest.

Be a good little errand boy and kill everyone in the sanctuary, then

Open the console>Click on a DB member>Type "Resurrect">Exit the console>Smile at the newly living DB member.

Do this until all are alive.
