i want a way to replace the way you use the mouse to look around and use the directional keys can someone please help??

Well.. It should be pretty simple.

You can do it before loading a game just by clicking on options and then controls. Think it's like that since i really haven't given it a thought before now so I'm just pulling this out of my memory. I think you can change the way you use the mouse on the vertical axis, or in other words, the y-axis. You can do that in-game to, just by pause the game by clicking escape in the upper left corner of the keyboard and then follow the same procedure as explained before.

I'm sorry if I explained it to you like if you where a baby, just wanted to be sure that you understand me.

Hope it was a help but it seems like you have some experience and it could well be another problem I haven't heard about.
