Full Version: You Have Killed Dagoth Ur, Finished All Quests. What You Can Do Now
The Nexus Forums > Specific Games > Morrowind > Morrowind > General Morrowind
Povuholo
You have been leader of all the guilds, your skills/level meter has exploded, every npc has been killed (not all on one character, i hope?), you have been nerevarine, god, necromancer, werewolf and a blighted vampire with a nasty case of corprus.

So what now? Get some hobbies!

My ideas:

1.Collect as many emeralds, rubies, pearls, diamonds, daedra hearts and skulls as you can, then put them on one big pile that covers your whole body
2. Make a chair of gold coins. (Yes it is possible without the CS or cheating, just place some books under the place you want the sitting part to be)
3. Make a big pile of every item you can find.
4. Collect normal things like souls of monsters, weapons, armors...
5. Make a road of coins from Solstheim to seyda neen. (Emergency hobby, only if you are really desperate)
6. Fill the whole map.
7. This is where you come in. Think of a hobby!

Borrow an idea from Douglas Adams, and insult every NPC in the game... in alphabetical order.

Build a mansion of cliff racer feathers, put every unique item in the game in a circle around ald-ruhn, play every mod available anywhere on the net. When you realise this is not stopping the Oblivion craving, eat your desk before one of the moderators (which one you may ask) does it for you.
Povuholo
That would be the switchynator. smile.gif

I'm collecting daedra hearts atm. The daedra shrine next to the urshilaku camp is really nice for my level 14. When i go inside the building (not the shrine) i find 2 dremora, and when i go outside i see 2 clanfear/ogrim. When i go back in again (no resting required) i see 2 dremora again, sometimes a daedroth.

Massive daedra hearts!
Malchik
Best bet is to go to Falensarano for Daedra. As long as you dispose of corpses they respawn when you change cells so you simply go backwards and forwards through the door to the lower level. Usually about 10 assorted daedra in there IIRC.
Povuholo
I've been there too yes. I made a pile of dwemer stuff. smile.gif

Also post if you ever build something with objects in-game.

My character hasn't killed Dagoth Ur yet. I think he's wiped out all the Sixth House bases outside of the Ghostfence though. He's number two man in the Temple and in House Redoran now and will soon be running those two factions.

The Imperial Legion is beginning what may become a general withdrawal from Vvardenfell in my game. General Darius and his staff have moved down to Ebonheart. Redoran guards are now patrolling the town of Gnisis. The Madach Tradehouse is a House Redoran base of operations. Miner Arobar has moved into Darius' old quarters to run things in the northwest.

The Empire has more troubles than it can easily handle at home in Cyrodiil. The Great House Redoran is working with the Temple to persuade the Imperials that the Dunmer can take on some of the load in the west.
Even though the transition isn't yet complete in Gnisis, my character is thinking of Seyda Neen and Pelagiad next. The Ordinators easily have enough strength to garrison those two towns.

I may eventually erase most of the Imperial presence in this Morrowind...unless I get bored and start a new character. wink.gif

That's pretty cool, how did you go about doing that?
Dilvish
So far, with cheap console tricks and roleplaying.

The wandering guards in Gnisis were finished off long ago by the kwama foragers and nix hounds who followed my character into the town. I just used placeatpc to add a half dozen redoran_guard_male (and_female) in their place.
I placed Darius and his aid in a fancy bedroom in the Ebonheart fortress. Then I disabled their Gnisis versions. I used the same method to move some Redorans up to Gnisis from Ald'ruhn.
I may start using mods like Dracandros'/Archcanon's/Hortator's Voice and Give Your Orders to add more realism to the changes I make.

The rest is roleplaying.

Kan'ild Nammu is different from the other Dunmer. He's bigger and stronger and he has feathered wings like the birds of Cyrodiil. He knows he is touched by destiny. Several times since his arrival in Morrowind, Gods have spoken to him. His memories from his life before Vvardenfell are only fragments but it seems he can remember speaking with the old Emperor too.
His secret fear is that he is a creation and tool of the Emperor. This has affected his feelings toward the Empire and his dealings with the Imperials. He works to increase the power of Redoran and the Temple and diminish the Imperial influence in the east. He will prove to himself that he is his own man.

Edit: Oops. The generic Redoran guards have all disappeared from Gnisis! The named NPCs are still there.

ah yes falensarano,i went in there (as i went in every dunmer fortress) to find that ice blade of the monarch
i slaughterd them all to the last one and then i went out realising i forgot a door and went back in so surprised and annoyed that i began to be bored slashing my way to that door tongue.gif (anyway everytime i start over i forget in which dungeon the blade is so if anyone could tell me)

I have PM'd you the reply to avoid having to move this thread to spoilers.

Well, iīm playing Mount&Blade to calm my desires for Oblivion.

Mount&Blade is one of the best games iīve played, maybe not top notch graphic but i still canīt belive the game is only 37[Edit] mb!

You control a band of freelancers and you ride out in very big world and doing almost what you want, very fun combat system. The feeling of thrusting your spear on your high speed horse into your enemies is fantastic happy.gif .

You can download Trial Beta here*click*, you can play to lvl 6 and then you need to buy the serial key(14$) for full version, i havenīt done that yet so iīve started about 10 chars over again.

Plus, i heard three men made it ohmy.gif

Viblo...

[ahh, sorry for going off topic tongue.gif]
Povuholo
Isn't that slightly off topic?

Hehe. Daedra's die. My wall of daedra hearts is growing and growing... Nice to see smile.gif
Dilvish
I installed some of the mods I mentioned in my earlier post. My character can now order House Guards and Ordinators to escort him, patrol the area, or stand guard in one spot.

When I bring a group of guards to another city, they patrol the city nicely but eventually disappear. The Redoran guards that arrive from Ald'ruhn via Silt Strider only last in Gnisis for a few game days. My character led a group of Ordinators overland from Vivec to Pelagiad. They patrolled Pelagiad for a few game weeks before disappearing.

Generic guards left in interiors are still there. Only the exterior cells revert back to their original condition and loose the generic guards. Unique NPCs moved to new interior or exterior locations seem to stay in the new locations.

Can someone explain?

Povuholo
The only thing i could think of is that they all felt in the water (next to the guy who's pants are stolen tongue.gif ) but the chance they all fall in there every time is very small. Maybe you should check the river just in case.
Dilvish
Nah. They're not in the river. Maybe they went AWOL when my character was sleeping. They may all be in the Ald Skar Inn getting drunk again.

I'm going to do what I always do when my characters get too strong. I'll start a new one. A Breton Female magic user named Diann Duciel will be my ninteenth Morrowind character.
sandy
build a fort of coins that could be fun?
Mercbird
I started stealing all the lamps and lights I could find (preffered Imperial shrines and forts for this ) and put them in the trees around my home in Bal Isra so I can find the damm place! ( see why I removed my old characters)

But generally the kowtowing before youre neravarinishness annoys me so I start a new game, so I hate Seyda Neen and am currently occupied in filling the map. And playing silly games like Fable. And chewing Swithc's third desk long distance.
super squirrel
am rising to the head of house hlaalu, and at the moment am righting 2 housing mods. 1 of which will be released some time between now and june

I got a new hunting hobby: oversizing!

I find a monster, an alit this time. I open the console (don't worry, not too much cheat) click on the monster, and type: setscale 50 Then the monster gets 50 times his size, making him almost dissapear in the clouds. I levitate up to his face, and shoot an arrow in his mouth. He dies. Falls on the ground, and this is the result. A giant dead monster with a mouth larger than a cave entrance!

This is something knights shouldn't do. The oversized monsters are very hard to hit without shooting.

I usually collect alot of worthless stuff and drop it all over the place.

Or see if I can make patterns with the people I kill in towns.

But I know it a bit off topic, but I am curious when reading the first post ...

how can you be leader of both Warrior and Thieves guild ... aren't they at war and I think the thieves has you kill off the warrior leader before you make it to the top?

Maybe I'm wrong ... or the meds I'm on is making my head funny.

Without cheats it is possible to become leader of all 8 joinable factions in the game and expansions plus one great house. As posted only recently in another thread, the only potential conflict (between Thieves and Fighters) is avoided provided you join the Thieves guild prior to doing Eydis Fire-Eye's third quest.

In the end indeed the two guilds are near enough working together. Doing all the TG quests will not stop you becoming leader of the FG. If you choose to do Sjoring Hard Heart's final quest for the FG you cannot make it to the top of the TG, that is all.

Using cheats you can join all three great houses and even do all the stronghold quests for each.

To go back to the topic in hand. Taken together, there are a great number of mines, caves, grottoes, shipwrecks, Ashlander camps, tombs, dwemer and daedric ruins and strongholds not used in the game quests in any form. One or two yield unique items or have interesting contents/layouts. It takes a long time to visit every one. Make it an objective to uncover every last square nanometre of the map both in the open and in cities/houses etc. And make sure you have finished every quest. Several are not that easy to find.

i went on a little rampage with a companion, from a mod, freeing people of the ordinators. lol it's good fun. Ethnic Cleansing ain't it great?

I don't particularly like the Redoran, so I usually end up harrying various Redoran towns. Few things are as fun as a werewolf slaughtering guards left and right.

I usually stick around Solstheim as there's more to kill, but once I had to return home to drop some loot, so I didn't have enough time to get back to Soltheim before the change happened. I'm sure I seriously upset the ecosystem of the Ashlands that night! tongue.gif

I usually just go around slaughtering stuff as a werewolf. devil.gif

I ended up having fun putting candles in every inch of the game. Note: this includes actually putting candles on people. The guards were completely covered in them. Also, if you place about 100 kwama foragers at you, you can make this big line of foragers, but they never catch up to you.
Povuholo
Wow that's an old thread! Back when I still spelled 'I' as 'i'. tongue.gif

Anyway, this thread is over 2 years old and even though the original poster is right here (Hi!), I don't think there's much interest in this thread anymore. So I'll lock it.

Feel free to start your own thread on this subject if you want to. smile.gif
