I HAVE STARTED AGAIN MORROWIND AND I NEED A SAVED GAME WHICH WILL HAVE DONE ALL MISSIONS FOR MORROWIND WITH A GOOD CHARACTER..NOT A CHARACTER WITH FULL ATRIBBUTES... JUST A VERY GOOD CHARACTER SO I CAN CONTINIUE THE BLOODMOON AND TRIBUNAL EXPANSIONS..PLZZ IT IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR ME.. IF ANYONE HAS ANY SAVED GAME PLZZ WRITE IT HERE OR SEND IT TO ME TO MY EMAIL themaras@mail.gr thank you

But what do you like about morrowind?

I like training my at the start still weak character. I make it stronger and stronger. And doing quest is also great. It spoils all the fun for me to start with a good character who has completed half of the game already. Isn't that what you play the game for? Get strong, do quests? Ofcourse, this is my opinion and you may like what you want.

And you don't need a very good character for the expansions. Later on you will, but not at the beginning.

WHAT IS WITH POSTING IN CAPS' LATELY??? PLEASE STOP SHOUTING!

If you insist on beefing up your character, an easier way would be to use the console. Typing "Morrowind Console Cheats" in Google should do the trick.

You don't need to do the Morrowind quests before you can start Tribunal or Bloodmoon. If you want to play with a strong character but don't have one, you can use the console to raise all your attributes and skills. Use the console to add good armor and weapons and gold. There are also mods that will give a new character uber stats., weapons, and artifacts.
I know one mod that will make you Neverine and give you the main quest artifacts. It's called insta-hero 2000 by Exerkis.

You know, I've never come across any instances of anyone offering MW saved games for download. but besides that, it's teribly ironic that you should want a pre-made up game for MW.

I could understand making one for all the stuff around Sedya Neen at the start, everyone at my house is wondering why they hear a strange screaming noise every now and then from the falling elf heheh

Something weird is happening with my Morrowind and PC. When starting the game the dark elf on the ship doesnt actually speak to me, nor does the menu come up for my name. And when the guard arrives he doesnt do anything either. I'm not sure what the problem is, but could someone send a save game to my email (shaunmcintosh@hotmail.com), preferrably one thats near the start, while i try and figure it out.

And as i can't actually get a Save yet, I need to create a Saves folder, but what folder do I put that in?

Hmm... sounds like either a serious mod conflict or something wrong with your current install. Have you tried starting a new game without any mods? If it still has problems if you try that then I'd suggest a complete reinstall. I don't think getting someone to send you a savegame will help here, as there are bound to be problems elsewhere if chargen is so badly affected, I would think.

I have no Mods installed whatsoever, and i have reinstalled it many times. The only possibility I think is that I havnt got my Sound card reinstalled yet, which I wouldn't have thought would affect the game in any way, however as the openings parts of it consist of speech it may be causing it to not say anything at all.

Er, yes, that would be it. Generally speaking you sort of need a sound card to hear anything in a game. wink.gif

Yes i realise that, but as I dont actually need to hear this I just need the goddamn NPC's so start the dialogue, not actually hear it. It's seems pathetic really :S

I believe if you look there's the option for subtitles in Options. Probably under either Audio or Video. You can see the text then, even if you can't hear it. Sorry, I didn't think of that before. ^^;

Well I've done, they work, but the name menu isnt coming up and it still doesnt alow my character to move freely. So I'm guessing something is wrong with the scripts or might there be something else.

Hmmm... that's weird. There shouldn't be any problems, with a fresh install and no mods running at all, and a new game. Other than not having any sound, obviously. Does your Morrowind disk have scratches on it or anything? Smudges maybe? That's about the last thing I can think of. Hold it up to a light and see.

Well nothing too significant. Its not actually the official Morrowind game however, or the gotY edition, it's a PCGamer edition (with the little percentage, reduced price etc.) but I fail to see how it would affect the disk.

It really is word actually. If only I could find a cheat that would toggle the walk thingme, cos I'm able to transport to, say, Balmor, but and get in 3rd person view but not walk. I've searched the cheats and nothing.

Do you have any sound device enabled on your system? The CharGen scripts specify that various sound files be played during character generation - I suppose the script gets stuck at that point if your system can't play them.

Try installing your sound card and see if that solves your problem.

I'm looking into it now. Problem is, I never had the driver disk for the sound card and I'm not even sure what one it is, however I will soon detsry my PC hoping to find out.

Thanks for the help again.

And btw your sig theta, I thought the middle earth mod got shut down, or this another one? either way good luck. I was unhappy when I couldn't find an armour mod for Aragorn/Elendil's armour on the web earlier :S
Theta Orionis
Once you find out what kind of sound card you have you should - hopefully - be able to download the correct driver. Alternatively, if your motherboard has onboard sound, you might be able to use that as your default sound device. Good luck smile.gif

Yes, sadly the MEMod was and remains shut down, but I like the picture and haven't found an adequate replacement for it yet.
