Hi, i recently just reinstalled morrowind again cause i was bored and wanted to try it again and i thought since when i last played it my computer ran it pretty well, as in no crashes, at a decent graphics detail, with many mods and such. but now that ive reinstalled the GOTY and got most of my mods back. i've started crashing like no other. wallbash.gif

i get ingame errors, i get an occasional crash to the desktop, and i get crashes where the screen where the screen will go black for like 10secs then go to the deep blue screen, but theres no code on it or anything just a blue screen.
my system hasnt changed, i havent used any other mods so i dont really know what it could be.. confused.gif

my system is:
1GB of RAM
Windows XP sp3
Radeon X600 256mb hypermemory
Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.4ghz
in a Dell Dimension E510

thanks in advance for the help, and if you need anymore detail to help with the problem just ask. thanks.gif

EDIT: now getting a new problem where all the graphics look totally messed up, and I get a message that says morrowind.esm is not a valid tes file. the graphic error doesn't effect meshes or textures, but things on menu's and info boxes (when you run the pointer over and object or something) are totally messed up and blocky. not really sure what do. most of the time i would just disable some mods, but this is the morrowind esm file itself that supposedly messed up

I am having similar issue, tho I didn't have the GOTY edition the first time I played MW.
I am reading up on mods, modding, mod compatibilities, use of the CS and wrye mash.
I hope to resolve these issues, and I hope you find resolution too. Alas, the only advice
I can give you is to try Wrye Mash, and (unofficial) patches. I have just DLd a patch, tho
I have yet to actually try it. It is possible that the new DLs of your old mods are not the
same as your old mods; they may have been updated/expanded/altered in some way?
Also, check out the top pinned topic in this forum section about crashes to the desktop.

Best wishes.
