When I launch the game or load my mod to CS I get this errormessage something like this:
"Type Journal tried to become Topic"...

I noticed that someone already asked this kind of thing but it really didn't help, even I downloaded TESAME and TEStool.

When I clicked "JUST FIX ME" in TEStool, about 100 more errors occur.

So, how do I get rid of this warning message and how do I use tesame and testool.


And one other thing (not so important):
You can change "owner" to every object. But is it possible to select more than one object and change owner reference to all those objects at same time?

If you get the 'journal tried to become topic' error message, it's most likely caused by having EMPTY-DELETED entries at the top of the topics and the journals list in the dialogue editor. Somehow, they always seem to crop up when you create a new topic or journal ID.

Luckily it's very easily sorted - save your mod, reload it, save again, and the error messages should disappear. If necessary, repeat.


And yes, you can apply ownership to more than one item at a time - in the 'extra data' section where you set ownership, there's an 'apply to selection' option which will set ownership for every item currently selected.
