The votes are now in from the last poll. The results are as follows:

Which of these non-existant features would you most have liked in Oblivion?

44 people voted for Combat Staves / Crossbows / Spears
58 people voted for Crafting
116 people voted for Dual Wielding
118 people voted for Mounted Combat
108 people voted for Multiplayer
25 people voted for Sleeping Anywhere
24 people voted for Were-Creatures

Total votes: 494

So mounted combat grabs it at the last minute.

This "weeks'" poll reads "What sort of mods are you most looking forward to playing?" so get voting!

I say new towns. Go iredior!

I already thought that or mounted combat or dual wielding would get the most votes. I see there are still people voting for multiplayer. I don't think i would like a multiplayer version of oblivion or any other elder scrolls game similar to it. But it seems there are people who liked that.

Bad news for them, it's not going to happen.
Unless they suddenly change their idea of "it's better to focus on one thing" laugh.gif

Hey I dont want to share my world, then I'd have to be all nice and responsible and stuff! ( Not the megalomaniacs some of my personalities turn out to be...)

You want Multiplayer, go play Neverea(aargh)gian Winter, or BF2... better that solitaire and it aint so bad being cannon fodder...

Me Mount Me Want Combat (gurgle) shocked.gif

Edit: Following the thread BF2 Burnout it seems that multiplayer in combat games(my siblings speciality, not mine) is not as much fun as its marketed to be...

Actually, I'm surprised at those results.

Sure, Mounted combat got the number of votes that I thought it would, but I was also thinking that the combat staves/crossbows/spears option would have a higher backing. Strange.

the Duel Wielding amount of support does not surprise me at all, however.

I don't think mounted combat would work at all in a first person perspective. Apart from shooting arrows ala Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
Dark0ne
Could always have it go into 3rd person perspective for mounted combat without it being detrimental to gameplay.
Povuholo
Would look stupid to fight on a horse in first person. When walking you just see the screen go a bit up and down, and fighting is like the same but your just a bit higher than your opponent. So if there would be mounted combat you better don't do it in first person grin.gif
Stampede

Mounted combat in Daggerfall was from the first person perspective. Though to be fair, riding a horse meant you saw a horses head in front of you, were higher than NPCs and heard "clip clop" when you walked.

It was still a great touch though.
