Sketch of 2D from the Gorillaz. I used a light table after rough sketching to ensure I had the border correct, and to get a general sense of where the features are, then drew them in and shaded. Enjoi:

Woah! That's pretty damn good.

I am so used to seeing sloppy linework and haphazard shading that I normally just do not bother to comment on peoples 'art'.

But you have nice crisp defined lines and obviously a very controlled hand when it comes to shading and it shows.

I really like your way of using more or less gray in different parts of the picture. It is like an old movie, in wich you can really imagine the coloures, even if they are not there. Good work!

Very impressive. I like the way you've shaded it, like Gabbe says you can see the colours even though they aren't there. Nice.

Excellent. I recognised you immediately, Slaiv! grin.gif

Wow. Now that's good! I'm not so much of an arty person so I can't comment much on your technique but... excellent. ^^

Thanks for the input.... unfortunately I lose my patience quickly, so I often drop bigger projects as well as other art "shtuff." Or just half-hazardly do it.

Hopefully I'll have some more to post soon.

I lose focus too. I think that I'm going in a good direction and then I just give up for no reason.

Top notch work though, I love the Gorrillaz.
