I have a problem, i know this i an old game but im a nostolgic (<-dont think i spelled this right) player. I love this game, only problem i have is when go on a quest, people purtaining to that specific quest come up missing. Example, i was dispatched to go to someone's house to kill them, when i entered, nobody was their, so i began to swing wildly into the air, and by chance caught the invisible person and kill him, he was suposedly there the whole time, but never attacked me or nothing, i would have been stuck, but i played this before and never had this problem, is there something im missing, like a fix for this, i've used the fixsave & fixmap to try to remedy the problem but to no avail. please help. oh yeah just so you know im using the no-cd way to play, but even so i have the problem.... thanx

Are you using DOSBox or VDMS? I vaguely recall hearing about problems when trying to run Daggerfall using VDMS, but haven't encountered the missing persons problem using DOSBox (then again, I didn't like the game much so didn't play it for very long)
BTW - if you want to add to your posts, there is an 'edit' button which allows you to make changes to your existing posts - no need to double post

It is a fact that Daggerfall was pretty buggy upon its release. Some of these bugs actually made the game impossible to complete.
Also, when exploring houses, be sure to explore it with a fine toothed comb. Many of them have attics where your target is hiding...or doors hidden behind obscure corners.

If you aren't running it in DosBox and you're on Win XP, you encounter many more bugs than you normally would, and these include quest-related stuff (people, monsters, items, etc) being invisible. If you need more help, a good place to ask is the
Past Games section of the Official Elderscrolls Forums.
