Full Version: what is the middle age mod?
It's a mod where your character hits a mid-life crisis and your quest is to find the hidden sport's car of l337 or get with as many women as possible within a specific time-frame.
Unless you mean the Middle-EARTH mod, in which case it's a non-existant mod that was meant to be set in Tolkien's Lord of the Rings Middle-Earth.

Here is a good quote:-

Middle age mod is when you realise you've spent your life struggling to make somebody else rich and it's time you went back to your roots. You must reset all skills to zero and retrain as something completely different with less accent on money and more on enjoyment. At the same time you are increasingly beset by monsters called 'children', 'overdraft', 'inlaws', 'mortgage' and 'failing libido' - the last generally a result of all the others.
Your general conversation switches from cars, girls and sport to alcohol, viagra and hernias and you are frequently overheard muttering 'if I knew then what I know now'. This remark if uttered enough times to monster type 'children' is guaranteed to get them to run away quickly. (Oops that's a spoiler!)
If you are playing the middle age mod as a female character certain of the rules are different. Perhaps Theta can help you out there.

Sadly, due to the limitations of the Netimmerse engine conflicting with our design philosophy of strict realism we had to abandon the middle-age mod when we couldn't figure out a way to implement creeping baldness and dynamic bodyshapes for male players and NPCs.
Female players reaching middle-age would of course have been given the option of abandoning their drab lifestyle and moving to a tropical island with their elf toyboys.
