Anyone know when the new patch will be out? There are quite a few bugs to be fixed.
I seen a few websites with some cool mods (new planes/vehicles). To use these does everyone have to have the mod installed? I'm assuming so.

Yeah, that sucks for many reasons. I'm sure someone would have difficulties installing the new map/server. http://www.planetbattlefield.com/bf2/tweakin/mods/ has a list of many mod websites. Some of them would be pretty cool to try out, even new maps would be fun.
i agree,new maps would be fun........the list is long already thats without those that arent completed yet
The "buzz" for the 1.1 patch (the renamed 1.0.3 patch) is that it will be released in the first week of oktober. The patch went out to the betatesters last week, for a 2 week evaluation test. After that it is to be released (if the betatest doesn't make more bugs than it fixes

They also wanted to ad a (few) new map(s) i heard. hence they skip 1.03 directly to 1.1 For details whatch other posts on this forum, cause i posted the updates twice already

* Commander scoring - No more TKs from Artillery!
* Vehicle tweaks - No more accidental kills from bumping a friend with your tank (try to avoid hitting him at speed though) and no more struggling uphill in an APC. Also no more improper TK allocation from vehicle explosions.
Very pleased by those two, no it is allright to play commander again, hopefully no commander shitfaces who Atry team on purpose

I hope(d) so, but a lot of sources now report tomorrow from example www.battlefield2.nl so a bit more patience is needed
