Wolf Manor isn't bad, DH_Homes has a castle you can buy, as does Latest Greatest Housing Mod-Gold. I'm currently enjoying the Ravenloft mod.

That's funny, I'm considering a Ranger for my next character. Have you tried the Ultimate Ranger mod, by chance?

I'd suggest Lokken , you have to complete a massive quest to get it, but it's worth it, the castle is brilliant.

There are tons, tons of really nifty homes for one. I like the Archmage tower (which I think comes with doors to rooms in Balmora, Caldera, etc. etc.), love the Cave home (but I hate those single stick ladders) which comes with its own teleporting scheme, love the DC Mage house, your basic house, and there are so many others I have not tried: the Vivec Flat, the various castles, ..... I'm really grateful to the guys who have spent so much time developing these mods, they are great fun.

Balmora Balcony house is a good one... Lots of storage space, but not much like a castle/fortress... There's this Balmora Castle one, that thing is frickin huge. Definitely castle like. Umm... Those are two I know of... There were some other ones, that included a large recreation of a real life castle, but it's off somewhere hard to get to in-game, making it a bit less desirable...
