I recently reformated my computer and since then Morrowind does not run properly. If I open my journal menu it starts to scroll from my most recent page all the way back to the first at lightning speed. I am unable to stop the journal from scrolling either. I cannot scroll down my spell or abilities menues either. If I try the list will scroll down one or two spells but will not scroll anymore and as soon as I let the scroll go it zips up to the top again.
This error is very irritating and I have tried to fix it, unfortunatly changing the settings in the options menues does not solve this problem, nor does un-installing and reinstalling the game.
I would greatly appriciate some assistance with this problem.
Thank you
Sarah Turnbull

Have you checked your mouse settings in windows (assuming you installed your mouse/keyboard drivers). Dont remember if you can use the mouse wheel for scrolling in Morrowind but sometimes the settings for keyboard/mouse in windows can make scrolling in games impossible.

Installing my updated mouse driver solved the problem. I'm a bit embarrassed that it was such a silly mistake but I'm too happy that Morrowind is working again to care that much.
Thank you Zniky for your suggestion.
