I am a "Newbie" to the site.

I am old but yet wise and after playing on your BF2 server yesterday with a great ping and great players I thought I would like to get onboard. It was good playing with so many Europeans and at last I see an admin telling others to play fair and not to "punish" in respect of team kills which are not intentional. If you have ever been a Commander you will know what I mean by that. The game was well organised with great admin which made the whole gaming experience so much better.

Its rare that I get the chance to be a Commander and if I do kill one of my own I always say sorry. It can happen especially when somebody requests artillery then others charge straight in like maniacs.

BF2 is a great team game and is also supposed to be fun but when you have others flaming, TK,ing etc for the hell of it and no admin on a server it can get out of hand. I had plenty of fun yesterday on the GamingSource.net server so I thought I would like to get to know the peeps some more and hope to get to know some of the regular players better. I did make a note of the IP of the server but have now lost it so can somebody put up a link? Thanx. Lets hope eventually you will be able to add servers to favourites in game. Next time I best go in via GameSpy.

Has anybody got any fun storys of being banned unfairly from other servers?

I remember on the Dragon Valley map in another server when I shot down a helicopter from the end of the pier and it just so happened to be flown by the server admin and his crew who were about to parachute in and say hello. I killed 6 members of that clan but also the wreckage that rained down killed 2 more of my team on the ground including myself and I got banned, this despite saying sorry to my team mates. I thought this was unfair and to make matters worse I had just turned Fraps off
