I've been working the past couple of hours on some new features for the forums, mods if you will. The first one was a bit of a flop since it wouldn't be compatible with the current forum setup, but the ones installed now have worked out quite nicely.


- Member Map: Yes, the member map has returned to the forums. Most will remember this feature being available about 4 months ago, but since the skins have changed the feature laid dormant. The feature is now back and working, so if you haven't already, go stick your pin on the map!

- Who's Been Online Today?: A similar feature was also on past variantions of the forums, this feature makes it's return now. Simply put, this feature shows all the members who have visited the forums during the day, as well as the number of guests who have visited.

- Java IRC Chat Room: Here's a first for the forums, we now have an IRC chat room feature plugged right into the forums. At the moment the client logs into the MEMod IRC chat channel, but this may changed. Go check it out. You may be asked for permission to download the client for it to work in your browser. You'll download the client from Sun Microsystems, the creator's of Java and it's a perfectly safe procedure (and necessary).

Ohh! I like that Member Map. One thing though, There was a little cyan pin sitting on Weston-Super-Mare before I Put myself on. Was it me?

Hover over it, it tells you who it is. Don't know if this works when they're stacked, though.

You can also find a member's location from the dropdown list.
