I won't bore you with the back story. Suffice it to say I am playing bloodmoon for the first time in about eighteen months. (It was never my favourite part of the MW experience).
I went in at level 16 before it is overrun with Spriggans and Riekling hordes (they come in when level 20 IIRC). It is an easy ride except for weird bugs I have never experienced before.
First there is the saving of the Good Beast quest. I activate the stone. Before I am half way down the hill I get a journal update telling me the beast is dead. I reload - same problem. I finally solve it by marking the site at which the bear appears and recalling immediately I activate the stone. Even then it is the third attempt before I manage to kill the Rieklings. They are not hard to kill but the beast is two-thirds dead by the time I arrive. There is be absolutely no way I can walk, run or fly to the site in time to save it.
Second Korst Wind-Eye is in two places. I can teleport between them. He has the same dialogue in both but it seems very odd.
Then there is Graring's assassin. I have posted elsewhere that the trigger factor to make her appear seems to have something to do with the player's direction of approach to Graring's house. When she did not appear as I came in from the east, I backtracked and tried a south westerly approach. Sure enough the woman appeared but she did not attack Graring and responded to me as if she were a friendly NPC. Her disposition was 87! The script supposedly attached to her appeared to have vanished. When I cast frenzy humanoid and she attacked me, I killed her and got the correct journal update. Sadly she had no interesting or unusual dialogue.
The only mod I have on which is new is Emma's Kids in Morrowind. I cannot see why that 'cosmetic' mod should have such side effects.
Has anyone else had these glitches?

Very interesting...
I actually cannot help you much, those are some very weird glitches. However, the most unusual things can sometimes occur from the most unrelated or seemingly innocent mods. Seriously, I downloaded a face replacer that caused the stats on my werewolf to go haywire. Only for his acrobatics though. Fortunately it was nothing the console could not correct.
did you manage to do the bear quest? What I could suggest is, cast recall again and use the console to kill the rieklings.

I've had strange things happen in my Bloodmoon also. I was using a mod that made werewolves get better rewards for Bloodmoon quests and it seemed to make the sound go all staticy whenever I would get near Lake Fjalding.

Ive never had any problems with Bloodmoon. Apart from the fact that reikling raider reflect ALL my magic (admittedly, it's supposed to be that way, but it's a problem for me nevertheless.)
So I'm afraid I can't help you.

Huh? What do you mean "icepack"?

It's the ice of Lake Fjalding crunching together.

There are no sounds concerning Lake Fjalding.......especially not icepacks....

I think the "icepack" comment was meant as a joke...

the only problem i suffered in bloodmoon was once building raven rocks little town i mannaged to get the weopons shop built and did the little side quests for the dude i forget his name but nothing els happened when the merchant shop was sopposed to spawn i waited sges in game slept more of my life away and had to go to an earlier reload point, luckely i always save like five different times so if anomolies happen i dont have to start back from the begining.

I get that static-y sound as well, but I play on the console, so it mmay have something to do with my connector cord.
A problem I keep experiencing on Bloodmoon is that sometimes I'll be cruising along in my Boots of Blinding Speed, I'll come up on a hill or something, and I'll go straight through it. Sometimes I even fall through the island and have to swim out. That ever happened to y'all?

Staticky sound - Yes (funny never thought anything off it) But isnt it the same sound as what the fire flame ball thing makes in the middle of the lake , which I get even before the fire is there... also in Raven Rock but I saw later that its the markers for the three different places you can get your colonial house built, but the sound shows up before the torches do as with the lake . But the ice crunch sound are little red sound markers and well, they crunch like ice.
Wind whatsis face always show up in two places, the good animal died several times but I found if you try to bash as many ricklings as possible they start attacking you instead and you die heheh, and try to get between them and the bear sometimes help. But the only real way was to mark and warp there at speed. Ah and the heal companion spell and a high restoration skill helps keep him alive

At a high speed there is a chance you just walk through a wall or mountain. Very annoying. I don't know how high your speed is but it should be high for that. I don't think it's a bug of bloodmoon, i think it's just something that happens everywhere.

I have had problems of a similar nature with Bloodmoon on the Xbox. I also have Morrowind for Xbox too, and it does have problems of that nature (the Xbox isn't as good as the PC version). Just reload a previous save game, it's caused by a faulty trigger (there is a trigger set up so the Rieklings only attack when you approach; it sounds like yours is glitching). You also might want to note that on the console beating Bloodmoon at level 16 is virtually impossible. It took more than a few tries for me at level 49 when I beat it.

There shouldn't be any difference between difficulties for XBox and PC... did you have the difficulty slider under Options turned way up? Because when people say they beat Bloodmoon at 25 or below they're talking about close to -100 difficulty usually.

Maybe. I might have adjusted it up for some reason.
