does anyone know why there is a second wraithgaurd theres no point inthe second if you already ahve the first
Malchik
You can complete the main quest in two ways. One, you complete the main quest, where Vivec gives you wraithguard. Two, you kill Vivec and take the second one to Yagrum Bagarn in Tel Fyr. You have to get Kagrenac's books (otherwise not used in game) and he will enchant it for you. You collect Sunder and Keening as before and kill Dagoth Ur.

the one you get from vivec peacefully is already enchanted, but if you get one by killing him it is unenchanted and, as Malchik said, you have to enchant it yourself. Both can only be used if enchanted. Isn't there a fake wraithguard as well?
Switch
The fake wraithguard and sunder weren't implemented in the end, even though they're mentioned in the documents from Vivec. Last minute cuts I suppose. tongue.gif But they are in the CS.

Also, keep in mind that with the wraithguard from killing Vivec; when you first equip it you permanently lose about 200 HP off your total.

yes iv got it i have a corrupted file where i just go and kill people that are important too see what thev got on them im just asking if there is really any point in it in the game but as you guys said it seems not
Sypron
not sure how old this topic is but, oh well. is there anyreason why the second wraithguard is a left hand daedric guantlet?
ShinJiOh
Yes, that's because Vivec teaches you how to use it, otherwise it's just a normal gauntlet.

That's why you have to go to the dwemer in tel fyr to use it.

im not THAT familiar to the rules yet, but this board looks like it would fit better in the spoilers because alot is getting spoiled.

Maybe im wrong, you tell me?
Switch
You probably have a point there. And don't you mean thread? wink.gif
