I had followed your mod since it first began, at the time I was a huge Morrowind fan, it still is my favorite game of all time. I also have been a Lord of the Rings fan since I first read the trilogy and the Hobbit when I was around 11 or 12. I found your mod though and was absolutely thrilled, no one has attempted a game of this scale related to Middle Earth. I would love to see a company attempt this, but even if they do I doubt it would be as good as yours would have been. When I learned about the license problems I was deeply saddened, waiting for this game for years and I was pretty much heart broken. I would love to experience the game that could have been. You guys had put so much hard work into it and to see it go down so easily must have really, well, sucked. I hold nothing against the Tolkien family, I only wish they could understand how we feel about this. I don't suppose there is any way you could try passing on what you had put together to Bethesda to see what they think. I'm sure you've already thought about that though, if its dead forever I will be disappointed, but I have hopes that some day, maybe not soon, but some day it can be ressurected and completed. This game could have made many people happy and given the devs good jobs. I don't know anything about how this business works, its just too bad nothing could be worked out. The last legal comment I have is probably stupid, but I want to know how the copyright deal works. I know in the U.S.A copyrights only last 50 years, I'm just curious how you can infringe on a copyright that can't legally exist anymore.

I have known about the downfall since a day after you guys posted it. I was already heartbroken. Forgive the bluntness of this next comment, but I'm a little drugged up on medications, just finished watching the first movie(my favorite of the three) for probably the twentieth time and I have been thinking about starting a new Morrowind character for probably the fifth time. Of course I thought about Morrowind while watching the movie and then I thought about this could have been mod and decided I needed to express my sadness. Thanks for your time guys, just want to get this all out there, sorry if I make anyone angry with this post, I have nothing but respect for the developers.
