ok well basicly ive made this sword in 3ds max 4, and ive wanted to know if there you can make ur sword actully shiny like reflection? is it possibal and wat do i hav to do to use it if there is a way to do it?

also ive seen on some mods , the deadric writing on it glows. how can i do this?

1) Download and install a decent raytracer plugin (vray works well and is free).

2) Assign a good metal material to the metal parts (exact settings will vary depending on your renderer choice).

3) Add a spherical environment map. High-contrast maps work best.

4) Render, preferably using some good lighting and with radiosity enabled.

5) Admire your pretty picture, because that's the closest you're getting to having realistic reflections in Morrowind.

Apparently, you can get chrome effects, Wookie might know how. As far as glowing writing, use a glowmap.

another problem is that the way i made my sword the players hands are holding the handle to low, can i change were he holds it?

The weapon is always held at the pivot point, or for two-handed weapons, the pivot point is centered between the hands.
