Can anybody tell me what the importance is or at least what the disturbing dreams with a golden mask wearing person. I've heard that there is more than one, but I just had the one where it says something about the place your dream takes place in looks like it is some type of wedding and the room is filled with dead bodies.

They're not really important. They're just Dagoth Ur messing with ya. A sort of invitation, if you will. Although it usually doesn't work properly, with all my characters except my most recent one I got the disturbing dreams after I beat Dagoth Ur, which doesn't really make much sense.

Oh, and the golden mask guy is Dagoth Ur.

Just so you know, there are only certain locations where you can get the dreams: Balmora, Ald-ruhn, Vivec, and I think Gnisis. Those are also the only places where you can get attacked by the ash zombies and what-not. It is part of the main quest, but I also think it has something to do with the Sixth House sleeper bases. You know, like cutting off the flow of sleepers to certain areas by killing the leader of the base. Take Subdun for example.
