I have always wondered if you could enchant something to have like a constant effect summon dremora or something is it possible to do that in game? or is it even possible to do in the construction set?

Yes, just make it like any other enchantment.

what object can hold that much though?
and how would it work anyway? if the creature died it would instantly come back?

I'm not sure about what can hold it, I've only done it in the construction set. As for what happens when it dies, it dies. But if you unequip and re-equip the item, it comes back.

The object with the most enchantment in the game is the Daedric Tower Shield and I think the best CS summon you can get with that would be a dremora or daedra. Anyways, yes it works. Ive made a CS Flame Atronoch ammy and when it dies, you simply take the ammy off and put it back on, in which a new one will be summoned. Its pretty handy when your getting attacked by dozens of enemies at once.

so you are saying that they dont just come back again and again (meaning that you can summon more than one without the other one disappearing) because i always found that you can only summon one type of creature at a time (not two dremoras and a scamp, one dremora and one scamp)

Even an Iron Shield is sufficient to hold an Ancestral Ghost. You cannot have two of one creature summoned by the same item, but you can make multiple items that summon the same thing. For instance, if you have 2 Graveward Amulets, you can summon 2 skeletos, one from each.

Ok this is how it goes. You put the amulet on, it summons a creature. You take the amulet off, the creature dissapears. The creature dies, you take the amulet off and put it back on. Then a new one is summoned. Get it?

If you use different items, you can summon more than one type of creature at once. Say two different rings that summon a skeleton, if you put them both on you will have two skeletons.
But i didn't know you couldn't summon two of the same creature with the same enchantment ingame. I havent tried it. I did make an amulet in the CS that, not a constant effect, but summons 3 ancestoral ghosts, they place at the same spot and are transparent so it looks like one thats less transparent but when they attack something they split off into 3, it looks pretty cool with the ghosts, wouldn't look right using skeletons or something as they overlap. I named it the amulet of haunting.
or if you want to summon a creature that isn't neccesarilly on the spell list, using a unique ID creature, you could script an item that onpcequip placeatpc the creature and if unequiped disable the creature, and even could have it check if it's dead and automatically respawn it.
hmm. i'm putting that on my list of future mods. If anyone's interested i'll post a script for that.

In game you cannot put a given effect on a single item more than once. Not sure about using the Construction Set since it sounds like that way works.
For spells, you cannot have more than one creature from a given summon creature spell alive at a time. When creating a new spell, you cannot add the same spell effect more than once, same as for creating enchanted items. You can create new spells with the same effect, e.g. summon Golden Saint 2, and thus have more than one of a creature summoneed at the same time by casting the separate spells. E.g Casting Summon Golden Saint followed by casting Summon Golden Saint 2 could give you two Golden Saints for as long as both summons endure.

My friend has constant effect summons as spells, cept he uses a glitch so I would consider it cheating.

There is a mod that lets you do this. Its kinda cool, you can collect ingredients to summon a creature for ever until it dies. for example, get some some daedra salt to summon a daedra. The system in the mod is more complicated and works kinda good.I t makes Conjuration much more fun.

the best items for enchanting are exquisite items. Exquisite rings robes pants shirts and amulets. I made a shirt that summons a scamp CE just to watch him fight whoever comes at me hand to hand.

Good grief! Why do people revive old threads?
Thanks for the...er tip. But please, once a thread is more than 3 months old, let alone a year, just let it die!
