Well, in a way I feel guilty, requesting help for a MOD in the
forum that once hosted ME-Mod, and now PP:p. Though I am
going to need some team members. I would go to another
forum, though, through my years of drifting around on this
forum I have found quite a lot of talented modders. I have
quite a basic concept of what the mod will be, what it will look
like, what it'll be about, let's just say everything thatwould need
to be thought of to start a MOD. I just do not have the team
members. I will work on a site once I get a few members,
though I will open up a forum here soon. All the information
on the MOD will be able to be found at the forum.

The basic theme of the MOD will be very grimm, and very
dramatic. It'll happen in a time of depression. The very heart
of the world known as 'Saeril' has been scorched. It's capitol,
'Silverleaf', has been raided by The Minion of Eternal Nites.
Slaying the peasents, and torching it's once historic Temples.
Every one hundred years The Minion of Eternal Nites arises
through a random portal to enter Saeril. To bring forth rage
and chaos to the well ballanced land. The leader of the Minion,
Sakoroth, The Eternal , was the brother of Lheki, the most
respected entity of Saeril. He was the one to rid Saeril of his
demented brother's legion, The Minion of Eternal Nites. After
an epic war between the two brothers. Sakoroth, ended up
being damned to the Eternal Void. Where later on his minion
would follow. Though, Lheki, would soon leave Saeril, due to a
promise he made to the gods. The promise was that if the gods
granted him the power to rid Saeril of his brother, and his
minion. He would sacrafice his life to the gods. Though, that
brought trouble. For it allowed a secret society who worshiped
Sakoroth, and his minion. To bring upon a special magic, a
magic that would soon bring darkness above Saeril once again.
Every one hundred years. The society would meet, and when
they meet. They would combine their souls to use this special
magic. They would sacrafice their souls through this magic to
open up a gate from the Eternal Void, to Saeril. Which gave
a path for Sakoroth and his minion to enter the land.

Well, I'll try to leave it there. That is a taste of the story. So
as you can see it will definatly be rich with story. I will mainly
be doing interior/world design, NPC editing, Dialogue editing,
and probably composing music. The list of positions I will need
will be the usuals, but I would also like a few voice actors. If
this seems interesting, but you're a bit skeptical. Well, do not
worry. You can always wait til I open the forums to see for
yourself. I will not be accepting applications right now. I'd rather
wait til the forums is opened for that. I just wanted to let
people in on my ideas, and see if I could possibly get a few
team members. I should have the forums done soon enough,
and when I do, I'll be sure to drop the link.

That sounds like it would be interesting, if it's done right. Don't worry about draining effort from PP, though. By no means would they accept everyone who wants to help, and they'll be the ones getting first choice. I'll help with this project, if you want.

Edit: The Minion of Eternal Nights is a group, rather than an individual, right? Also, how do they survive from one cycle to the next? Do some not join in the ritual? What is the reaction of the inhabitants, if they haven't seen darkness for 100 years? Or is 'darkness' metaphorical? (Can you tell that I like details?)

Yes, maybe I should've elaborated more:p Well,
yes, the Minion of Eternal Nights is a group, more
like a very large army. Though they do not have
to live off of darkness. The Eternal Nights in their
name is there, because when they enter the realm
of Saeril. They bring an eternal darkness until they
have been defeated. Their spirits are brought back
to the Eternal Void. Where they lie dormat for their
100 years. Then when the secret society (and I will
not release the name of the society, for plot reasons.)
uses the magic to summon forth the gate between
Saeril, and the Eternal void. They come forth to
Saeril and always attack different historical places
of Saeril. Though the citizens of Saeril never thought
they would attack Silverleaf, due to it's isolation and
heavy defense. Now, that should explain a bit more
about the Minion.

The Minion of Eternal Night's time of existance is
believed to be around 2,500-3,000 years. Though
they have only been defeated 3 times. Now the
times when they were not defeated. Saeril was
empty, with very little survivors, but the survivors
always to rebuild from nothing. Though when they
are not defeated a god must sacrafice his life to
Sakoroth. The reason to that is Lekhi's promise to
the gods. Now, if he defeated his brother with the
power of the god's, Lekhi would sacrafice his life.
But, the gods did not tell Lekhi that their interferance
would cause a disturbance between the gods. So
therefore the gods all agreed to this term. If
Sakoroth stood undefeated. One of the gods would
sacrafice his soul to Sakoroth. Which would give
him power to survive another 100 years in the
Eternal Void.

Now, I hope that does it, if not. I should either have
the forums up by either tonight, or tomorror afternoon.
