I would like to apologise for, well, the impressively blunt language I've been using of late. But I'd be lying if I did.
MeMod was a project we put a huge amount of effort into - all of us, from the devs right down the the newest members of the team.
And then the rug was pulled from under our feet in the worst possible way. There was no closure, no end, no expected incident, just *pop* that's it, game over. It left a lot of things unfinished, as a team, as a project, as a dream. for those of us who were so heavily involved that it was a major element of our work, MeMod's passing was in some ways a bereavement, one we're still getting to grips with.
It's that which means that we;ll defent it's reputation, and, at the same time, which angers us completely when requests to let it lie are ignored.
MemOd was a baby daughter, the lover who left you, the Gordian knot, all bound into one. Taken away before it could become something, and we're still trying to work out how to deal with that closure.
That's why a few recent posts have been vitriolic and venemous as hell. There's only so much I can smile and nod and simpler and be polite to before my patience wore away fully.
I'm in that snarly pissed-off stage of dealing with it, just now.
Suz.
and if anyone argues with that, I'll prise their kneecaps off with a crowbar and make maracas out of 'em
(only joking. I'll use my teeth, not a crowbar.)
