Okay, I'm not new to morrowind, I used to play it all the time, just never really got into using the construction set. Well, recently I started playing with a whole bunch of plugins at once (used TEStool on them). A few problems have arisen, and i was wondering if there was a quick fix for each of them.

First sound problem:
Oftentimes (so far just on indoor cells) instead of a person giving me their customary greeting, they just growl at me. It's loud and obnoxious, and the first time I heard it, with my volume turned up loud, I almost lost control of my bodily functions.
Anyone know what's wrong here?

Second sound problem:
Even without the plugins, it seems I can hear miscellaneous sound effects wherever I go in the outdoor cells. For example, I can hear Scribs thumping there tails VERY often. Also, every now and then, I can hear the sound for taking falling damage. It's very annoying and really makes the game sound a mess.

First graphical problem:
This is plugin related, and I was just wondering if anyone had this file, or knows where I can get it:

It's a part of the Morrowind Complete Final package, for the mining and logging addon esp.

Second graphical problem:
It seems all the Redoran guards (at least in Ald'rhun) are wearing Trollbone helms instead of their typical Redoran Bonemould helms. I'm thinking it's just a matter of the names of the files being switched??

Performance question:
I'm taking serious FPS hits for using Balmora Expanded, the Complete Morrowind mining/logging addon, and soon will be again from using Vivec Expanded.
My question is, which of the following should I invest in?

a stick of 512mb ddr400 (CA$110) to double my ram, but forego dual channel (I currently have 2x256mb ddr400)

2 sticks of 512mb ddr400, using dual channel (and try to sell my 2x256 to someone)

upgrade my radeon 9600 pro (128mb) to a radeon 9600xt (256mb) for CA$217 and try to sell the old one x)

I think those are my two bottlenecks. Just for reference, my relavent computer specs are:

Athlon 2500+ (barton)
Abit NF7-S (board only supports 333 unfortunately)
2x256MB DDR400
Sapphire Radeon 9600pro (128MB)
