I knew from my sister that the man was going to attack you partially into the play so I didnt bother to read the entire thing. I was in Sadrith Mora in the Tel Naga Great Hall and found the book and decided to read it. The story was great, with a nice twist at the end. I was wondering if and of you have read the entire story or just read part of it, or if you have read it but forgot it.

If you are asking if there is another part to the book, the answe is no. "Horror" is a one-part story.

Nah, I just read as far as I thought I needed to go for the play to work. But As far as reading whole books goes I've read Mixed Unit Tactics and... geeze what was it...uh...

Well I cant think of the titles at the moment but if I do I'll edit it in. Something to do with necromancy I think...it had 4 books to its series... any help would be appreciated... <> I think thats part of what makes Morrowind so great. All the books that they took the time to write and place and with all the different topics. Because they could have just made books unreadable and saved themselve some time but they went the next step. God I'm a nerd...

I think I have read most of the books at one time or another. I can't say the lessons of Vivec make much sense to me but many of the others have amusing or creepy tales. It can be difficult to make sense of the really long ones (2920 or whatever it's called for example) because you come across them in random order. But as FB says, good for Bethesda for taking the trouble to make them so detailed.

I know its just the one part. I ment did you just read like half the book and drop it?
I've only read like 4 books all the way through in Morrowind.

I read the whole book out of curiousity, for a minute i thought i was going to have to reenact the whole play....glad i was wrong.
The only series I have read is Posion Song. I thought it was a pretty good story, i read the first book and liked it enough that i searched all over Morrowind killing and stealing from the unfortunate people that happened to harbor the books (i did all this on my vampire character so i wasn't worried about the consequences).

i've read through the entire horror of castle zyr as well as most of the lessons of vivec. my last character had a library and i made it a point to have one copy of every book in the game.... needless to say it took 2 houses in balmora
i've read through maybe 20 - 30 of the books though. i liked the one about the thief and the strong stupid guy.

I read nearly all of the books (and pieces pf paper) i find, and then drop the ones i don't need. I most enjoyed "a dance in the fire" - the one about the two building contracters in the forest. There are 7 parts (all on sale in Joshaba's book shop), but are worth reading.
I collect books, used a mod (vault of hording mod) and stored all of the books in one of the massive chests. I must have had about 40 books - all of them i have read. I must be mad!!!!!

Flightless, might it be corpse preperation - it is the only necromancy book i have have found with more then one part. It was in Svorkild the Raven's evil tower near Dagon Fell. There is a quest to kill him if you follow the legion quests. The important nord guy in ebonheart gives it to you.

There was one story that i think had 2 parts to it.
It's making me mad that i can't remember the name, but the story was about a man who fell in love with a woman who was killed, and he tried to conjure her back from the dead. (i can't tell you what happens at the end, but it's a real good twist)
Anyways, if someone knows the name of this book, please say it.. I think i might have found the book in a telvanni tower, not sure which one.
So...yeah..i recommend this book that i don't know the name of....

I would recommend the entire 36 lessons of vivec. it's a pretty good story and gives you alot of insight into the background of the area. also, several of the things you run across during the main quest will make a little more sense.

Eh, I was being dumb again. Heck I couldnt even remember the name let alone how many books. But I could have sworn that there was 4 lying around somewhere in Vvardenfel. I think there was one in Sorkvilds the Ravens house but you know, I was being dumb. I'm glad I dont have wings. I'd probably lose them...

All four can be found in the Necromancer's tower outside of Dagon Fel. But you gotta pick your way through the uglies first.

The first time I went to Mournhold, the first quest (I dont know how) that I ran across was this one, with the Horror play...
I thought you had to memorize the whole book! I was going NUTS trying to memorize the whole book
Finally I decided to save, and try the play, when i thought i had it pretty good, and it ended up I only needed a little bit of the play

after spending about 3 hours trying to get the play good enough..
Figured, the only lines I didn't look very close at were the first ones...so i got all of them wrong and had to reload like 12 times...
And now i memorized the first few lines of Castle Xyr!
Oh and for the other topic, I only read like 2 books throughout the whole game, Castle Xyr, and the Yellow Book of Riddles...I only read the yellow book a little and threw it down, because I thought it was useless, but figures, it was useful for something, afterall

God, I swear I have looked all over and I can not find a copy of Vampires of Vardenfell II anywhere. Its so annoying, I've gone to every single book store I know of and even went to Todd's Test Cell and I still cant find a copy, I'll never be the Archmage without it

I don't remember the title, but my favorite book is the one about a courtesan who is a spy... and the king he's spying on plays a trick to catch spies... saying he's poisoned all the food of disloyal courtiers, and the antidote is in a bowl on the table. It's got a GREAT twist... gogo Bethesda!

That would be Incident in Necrom. I'm trying to collect ALL the books, and any I find that aren't part of a series, I read on the spot.
EDIT! actually, it's A Game at Dinner, there's a copy in Trebonius's room

Hey there Collecter, please read the rules about posting in this forum before you post, you can find them
here.
This is called "thread necromancy", when you reply to a thread that is over a month old without adding any real new content to it. The rule was instigated so we can avoid forums getting clogged with constantly revived topics that are already discussed to death.
So yeah, please read the rules before posting to avoid any mishaps ^^ thanks!
