So, there are still rebels left... The Front still wasnt able to thrown down the uprising. I find this amusing cause it is that very same Front who swore to thrown down the uprising within a month. The rebellion started in March...
Look at it... The once 'Big Apple'. Now ruins... Everything destroyed, bombarded. It's streets filled with bodies. Rebels, Liberals even civilians... Well the Front doesnt really distinct civilians from rebels in NY... If it's not a Liberal, shoot...
Sometimes people still ask how it came to this. Who's to blame? The Front blames the communists, as it has done each time the past 10 years.
I say it all started in 2014, the communistic revolution in the East of Europe and Asia. As most of the former U.S.S.R tried to become capitalistic, they would soon find out it would be an attempt in vain... A second communistic revolution was not a big surprise. In 2014 Germany, Russia, North Korea, Vietnam, Cuba, China and all the other former Sovjet countries united under a red flag and formed the C.S.R, the Communistic Socialistic Republic. It spread it's wings over almost a quarter of the world.
As reply on the C.S.R, the U.S.A formed the 'Liberal Front'. Unlike the C.S.R, the Liberal Front was not formed voluntary... The U.S.A started to 'colonise' the other countries of America. Some in a 'pacifist' and 'democratic' way, others... All except Canada. After the formation of the Liberal Front, Canada no longer wished to have anything to do with the LF. In result, two years later the Liberal-Canadian War broke out. In 2016 AC, not much was left of the old world. The C.S.R, the Front and than you had the rest of the world. the Middle-East was left alone and was divided by cival wars. The rest of Europe did as it had always done, and decided to ignore the Front and it's war against Canada for the time being. Afrika became totally independent and had a good future coming it's way...
In 2017, things were starting to look less fortunate for Canada. The Front was advancing on all lines and Canda was about to lose the entire war. In desperation it cried for help. the C.S.R who had become unusually peacefull demanded and end to the war. As result the Front invaded Cuba and Russia. Europe, who had enough of the agressive politics coming from the Front, allied itself with the C.S.R and Canada. World War 3 was mainly foughten in Russia, Alaska and Cuba. in 2019 Cuba was liberated and in 2023 Alaska was overrun by European-Socialistic forces. The Liberal Front, out of fear for a major defeat, opened negotiations.
the Front would withdraw all it's forces from Canada as long as the Liberal borders would be respected. Canada, Europe and the C.S.R accepted... The Liberal Front was ashamed. Defeated by the communists was something it would not forget very easily. But the shame of defeat was not all the war had caused. Due the war America fell into an economic crisis. Citizens became unhappy and even started to blame the Front. Uprisings, strikes... in 2024 Chairman John Clark resigned from the Liberal Front... Clark was at that time the leader of the Front. Here is where things went totally wrong. In lack of a chairman the Pentagon took temporarily command of the Front, later on it would seem the Pentagon had no intentions of resigning of it's 'temporarly' post... In 2026 the true meanings of the Pentagon became clear. The Liberal Front was no longer 'democratic', at least not as it used to be... It became a military dictatorship.
People became prisoners of their own homes, anybody who disagreed was transported to working camps or worse... the SP or State Police had it's spies everywhere... Economy was doing well again but the people did not notice it, they remained poor and were only provided with enough lifeprovisions to be able to work every day. The Liberal Front became rich and it's people suffered... A rebellion would be the final outcome. We only needed a spark...
In december 2033 a spark came, Nathaniel Anderson, a standard family man cursed the Front in public during a rage of anger. Later that day 6 agents bursted into his house and arrested him. Anderson resisted and knocked down two agents. For that they grabbed him, threw him on the street and shot him in front of all his friends, wife and children. His nineteen-years old son, in a hystaric trance, grabbed the gun his father had kept hidden in case of emergency and shot down an agent.
They jumped him and cut his troath in front of his mother and his seventeen-years old brother.
A month later militia groups started raiding SP convoys in New York. Weapons, armor, everything they could get their hands on. In fear of an uprising the Front sended an entire company into New York. The company was send to keep peace, in fact they abused the civilians... In the last week of january civilians began their assault on the Liberal troops. The company failed to hold NY and retreated. As reply New York was bombarded and invaded by the mobile artillery, escorted by mobile infantry. 8 months later New York still hadnt surrendered... |
