I kind of found it disconserting in morrowind to go into a place selling adult beverages only to find everybody not sitting down. It was a bit weird.

So, does memod introduce this revolutionary feature to the morrowind community?

Erm, IIRC this has been discussed before it was a long time ago think though, I just did a quick search but couldnt come up with anything, sorry

Yes you will see NPC's sitting down.

Yes you will see NPC's sitting down.

Will those NPC's be able to get up and walk around, too? Or are they confined to the chairs? And will the PC be able to sit? I doubt it would work well in the MW-engine, but I had to ask... wink.gif What joy such simple thing might give the player... I remember the first time I sat down in front of the fireplace in Gothic, that was freedom! tongue.gif

Man, You guys just cant get enough of previes for the mod can you? Can't you just be happy they told you something straight? He could have said " Wait for the mod and find out" but he gave this one to you! Jeeze... Have patience....its a virtue for a reason.
covenant2
sitting will be cool it will be a change from just standing about all the time
pharzon
Chill, FlightlessBird, do you actually expect them to answer him anyway? I would be very much surprised if they did.. wink.gif

He could have said " Wait for the mod and find out" but he gave this one to you!

But he didn't... And that means that there might be info to get...

*slobbers*

"ahh, MEMod info..."

I'm just a digger. If you dig all your life, one day your bound to strike gold! wink.gif

More serious, though:
These forums are meant for asking questions and discussing the MEMod, and I believe that is exactly what I'm doing. If the devs don't want to answer my questions, then they don't! If they don't appreciate my questions, then they just tell me so! I'm just digging! smile.gif
And I thought Rynos' answer was good, sitting NPC's is a good thing, but he did well to avoid the core of this issue: Is there a sit-down-animation and a get-up-animation? And can the PC sit? If they don't wanna tell us, then they don't and I won't push them any further... wink.gif As simple as that...

BTW. Patience is not a virtue... It's hell! wacko.gif

Covenant2, strike one for spamming. One-word replies to increase your post count are not allowed here and you know it.

What does the post count do though? Do we win a free llama if we reach 1000?
Slaiv
I could say something here, but I'm on my last chance for thread vigilante- ummm, vigilante-, uuh, -ism.

Maybe I should be a Mod... [Hint Hint laugh.gif ]

Anyway, this will certainly add to the realism of the mod.

And it's not like he asked them to require it, he only asked if it would be included.

*Waits for "Wait and see.*

Edit: I will, however, tell you if I get a llaama. tongue.gif
Rynos
Wait and see.
Tor_Anders
LOL laugh.gif Okay, I'll wait...

Anyway, a couple of patrons sitting around downing pints will really animate the taverns, even if I won't be able to join them! So thumbs up either way...
covenant2
sorry peregrine bye2.gif I wont do it again I have learnt my lesson and hopefully you will be able to sit down and drink pints with people happy.gif
Manwë
So we know NPC's can sit down, and possibly drink while sitting and things like that.
My question is, if you can find NPC's sitting in a tavern, can you find NPC's sleeping in their house? Or sleeping in the wilderness (if they are traveling)?
I personally think that would be awesome to be able to wait until dark, (because maybe NPC's wouldn't let random strangers in their houses like Morrowind does) and then sneak into a house, where someone's sleeping...or a pawnbroker or something... happy.gif
