if not:Is there a mod for this stuff?

No mod needed and it is perfectly do-able.

Do the following:
1. Open your datafiles directory (My Computer >C:\ >Program Files >Bethesda Softworks >Morrowind >Datafiles)
2. Open the music folder inside of the datafiles, it should show 3 folders, Explore, Battle and Special.
3. Place the songs you want into the relevant folder ie: You want a Motorhead song as your explore music, but the MP3 into the explore folder.

Hope it helps, and please anyone correct me if I wrong

Keep in mind you have to rename the desired file and overwrite one of the files in the folder with it. So if you wanted a chance for something by Motorhead to play when you enter battle you'd have to replace MW battle1.mp3 by renaming the desired song to that then pasting it into the folder (select "Yes" to overwrite). If you wanted a 100% chance for it to play you'd have to overwrite every file in that folder with the song as the game just picks randomly between the 8. Might wanna save back up copies of the originals just in case you dislike the result

Of course, there are certain people on the forums who have created music for you to use, whether it be for traveling or for battling. People like me.

Is this also possible for the Xbox? Just trying to find out the differences between the two. I'll just turn on my stereo that sits above my TV and pop in any CD I want so it doesn't really concern me that much... just wondering

Nope, you can't download my music for X-box, unless you're planning on burning onto several CD's and distributing most of the copies to your friends while keeping one for yourself to pop in the CD player while you play Morrowind.

No, I mean is there a setting in Morrowind so that I can access the music that I have uploaded on to my Xbox hard drive? Like in Tiger Woods they have a bunch of rap songs (no offense to anyone) but it's not my kind of music so I can sub all that music for my own that I uploaded on to the hard drive. Just wondering if this is also possible with the Xbox.

As far as I know, there's no setting like that for X-Box Morrowind.
