I really want to complete the museum in Mournhold, and i am wearing The cuirass of the Saviors hide, problem, its a wanted item, so could anyone please tell me if they know of any LIGHT armor that is better than than this armor. thankyou.

Unfortunately I think the Saviour's Hide is the best light armour out there short of stuff added by mods. I'm pretty sure there isn't anything better. You could always level another armour skill I suppose?

thats what i had to do eventually, now i have some decent medium armor.

u cud always dontate it, and steal it back afterwards

All equipment donated to the Museum is scripted so when the PC attempts to pick it up, it places it back on the pedestal, and places a death warrant on you, therefore, all 7 or 8 High Ordinators AND the museum curator attack you.

So, you get turned into cheese really quickly unless you have really good armor, and make it out alive (where the OTHER High Ordinators attempt to turn your head into a trophy) or you use an uber-spell and vaporize everyone in there.

In any case, you can't get anything back, just like the Curator tells you.
