The Dark Brotherhood leader, Dandras Vules, keeps having an error. When he says, "You would dare enter the lair of the Dark Brotherhood? Very well. We will complete our mission here and now. A speedy death to you, so-and-so." the game locks up, and repeats that message over and over. When I try to hit goodbye, the dialogue box pops up again, and continues the message. Also, if I try the "sethealth 0" cheat, the same happens, and if I put in the command "disable" on him, it does the same thing, only with "Who's there?"

I figured I could fix this in the TES CS, but I now that I'm there, I don't know what to do. Can anyone help me fix this? help.gif

This has been discussed to death many a time before. Please use the Search feature found at the top right corner. Thanks wink.gif

Locked.

Actually I don't think it has. He's not talking about the usual death message loop which has been discussed many times.

Uhm, okay... search for what?

GO to the official morrowind site and under downloads, there you will se patches and one of them(think it is called something with BLoodmoon) will make that stop happen(i also happened for me)

Jasay, think about this for a second. The "Dark Brotherhood" is only available in Tribunal, therefore he would have to download the "Tribunal" Patch for either UK or US (depends on location). And, even if he is playing with both Expantions at once there is a very small chance that the two would have any problems such as this, in the game

I have had this same error and I could not find a way to fix the problem while in the game but you might find something, so keep trying. But if you just do not care simply use the Construction Set to fix it, it is simple, and fast. I was currently running no mods or other Expantions while I was playing, simply Morrowind.esm, and Tribunal.esm.

Peregrine is right he IS talking about a simple speech error, which I have not heard about here in the M.W. Source Forums before (Even after performing a search).
