This game I recently found while surfing the net. You can download it from this sit.Unfortunately you have to subscribe to a sponsor site before you can download it, but hey, it's free and it's worth the trouble! Just make sure you go look on the internet for zip codes in America if you use Permission research as the sponsor site otherwise you can't subscribe.

it's kind of a village simulation that came out back in 1997. It's actually a really simple game, collect food for your peasants, build some huts for them to reproduce, kill off some monsters, control the price of food, try to fight crime etc etc. It might sound boring, which is what I thought at first glance, but it actually became very addictive for me.

The link above is one of the best download links, because it already has the files required to have it run with XP.

I might give it a try, I couldn't find how big the file is though.

I remember Beasts and Bumpkins. I only had the demo but enjoyed the unique attributes that this strategy game had.

I'd love to have it in my collection.

:thanks:

It's definetely one of my favorite games of all time.

I used to play it when I was young. Man... the memories. I've lost the cd. I used to have the big box like they used to ship the games with.

The music was fanastic too. I guess that this version of it, 70-80mb does not include the music, am I right?

No, I think the music has unfortunately not been included. Can't remember hearing any music while playing it.
