God of War III is definitely going to be a big factor for PS3 sales. The last 2 installments in the series are awesome, and this looks like a step even above them.

I have no PS3. only a PS2, and I have God of War 1 and 2

I look forward to 3, but ill have to rely on my brother getting it for his PS3 and letting me play it I guess

To be honest I don't think anyone should buy A 600$ gamesystem for just one game, so I'm thinking it'll stay the same especially since KillZone 2 is coming out for both the 360 and the PS3. sry PS3 lovers.

I have played I and II they were the greatest games for PS2 without doubt (though spartan total warrior was godly) i guess i won't be able to get it two days after it's out since there are lots of people waiting for this...

Sorry; I like your enthusiasm, but killzone 2 is going to stay a ps3 exclusive. Guerilla games say that: "We are taking huge advantage of the architecture of PS3. I firmly believe that what we've shown we can get out of that machine would be difficult, if not impossible, to deliver on a competing machine."

If it later came out on 360, it will be downgraded Im afraid.

I think it will sell a fair few ps3s. So long as they make a ps3 bundle which includes god of war 3, like they are doing for killzone 2. Maybe it will double ps3 hardware sales for perhaps 3 months or so after relwease? Thats what I think will be the result for both god of war 3, and also killzone 2, though maybe not as much kjillzone 2.
