Block forums from "View New Posts"
There is now a new option in "My Controls" under "Change Password" that allows you to block specific forums from showing up when you use the "View New Posts" feature. Handy for forum users who are only here to talk about Oblivion or Fallout 3.

Use Shift + Click and Ctrl + Click to select multiple forums. Upon testing make sure you block every forum you don't want to see (blocking the category the forum is under doesn't seem to work, i.e. blocking "Fallout 3" will not block all the Fallout 3 sub forums).

Thank you so much for this! :)

Now it makes "view new posts" actually viable.

Cheers.

Perfect! I was just wondering if this was possible last night, after wading through 50 pages of mostly Fallout topics. Thanks a lot!

I just viewed new posts for the first time while blocking what I wasn't looking for, very nice. Not that you need it, but I'm stacking on a kudos. Darkone, you rock!

Was this feature removed or moved? I got on today and all posts were showing up. I went to reset it and the option wasn't available.

Yes, the forum got upgraded and the modifications made/added to the forums get removed with each new upgrade. It's why I'm loathe to do forum upgrades on a regular basis.

I'll get around to looking at replacing this some time soon.
