I'm having a problem loading any saved games. When I hit "load" from the main menu, the load window pops up, but it is just black, with no save games in it, and then the game becomes unresponsive.

I can start a new game, but when i try to save it, i get the exact same blank window & freezing problem. While in my new game, i can do a quicksave just fine, i just cant save or load in the normal way (esc. & save)

I dont have any mods or expansions, my game was working just fine up until today, when the gods decided to cut me off from gameplay. :rip:

Can anyone please help me with this? B)

Maybe something is corrupted - try reinstalling the game and see if that fixes the problem.

Keep the save games in the Morrowind Saves folder to around 10. It is not
necessary to delete the saves, but they should be backed up into another folder
on the hard drive other than Morrowind.

If the problem continues, the current install of Morrowind may have become
corrupted.just as captoblaster has said
