Skin not working i need help geting a skin to work

i have just learned how to change skins for the game, but when i tryed to save to file from adobe as a .nif file it wouldent, so when i tryed to add the art file to my new head in the construction set, it looks like the old normal head. do you know how i could fix this?

Are you just laying around changing body parts around to make a new race or have you created your own models and skins?

Iv just learned how to take the skins from the Construction set cd and edit them so i can put them back onto the same frames Morrowind originaly used.
