I have about 200 mil ISK. Is it possible to use this money to buy eve time?

If so how much time will it buy? How do I go about doing it?

Edit: Ok, I looked this up, and apparently there is a forum where people post when they want to sell codes- and it appears that the going rate is about 400 mil ISK for 60 days. Still have not figured out the entire process- but it appears to be reasonably well regulated- even though I could not make much sense of the posts in the forum...

I sold a 30 day GTC when I first started to tide me over with purchasing a properly fitted Raven, get some +4 imps and to make a little PVP fund for rainy days which worked well. I obviously no longer need to sell GTCs but from the process I went through; a GTC seller advertises on the Time Code Bazaar forums and people contact the seller in-game. The transfer can be done instantly from the account area on the official site, and it's secure.

Thanks for the information. Looks like I need to play the market a bit more before I can buy eve time. Still, I quite like the idea of buying 2 months of play time with 400 mil ISK only. I say this only after my recent success at playing the market (though this has slowed down a bit as others have caught on to what I was doing. Am now in the search for newer markets).

In fact a month ago I was so frustrated by my lack of funds that I was seriously considering selling a GTC.

In my search for newer markets I took one of my alternative characters (one day old) on long journey yesterday. Set destination for the furtherest end of the universe. I was surprised to find that the route included about 35 continuous jumps through low sec- mostly all 0.0 -really unending (multiple travel advisories). I was wondering at this (and looking at the market) when about 15 jumps into the journey I started encountering these bubble like things- which were apparently portable warp scramblers (I think). Did not have much time to appreciate them- as near the 2nd bubble I was ambushed and blown to kingdom come in a couple of seconds. I was hoping they would try and ransom my pod- but before I knew it I was back in station in my clone.

Still, there appeared to be some opportunities for making money in these regions....

Yes, playing the 0.0 markets can be more profitable but it's also more risky and less volume based. 0.0 regions will have a market of 100 - 2000 people rather than a market of 100,000 people like in empire. As a result you'll make higher profit margins but will sell less products in most cases, so it tends to balance out. Playing the 0.0 market is a lot less intensive and you normally don't have to worry so much about people undercutting you for days on end.

You can only really play the 0.0 market in NPC 0.0 space or in 0.0 space that your alliance owns; else you won't actually be able to dock at the stations to sell anything!
