Okay, I used to have Morrowind installed on my PC, but I got bored of it after awhile and deleted it, etc, and now I am trying to play it again. I installed it, and started to run the exe, it opens the game, switches to the black screen, then exits out with the following error message:
Font 0 not found in .\Morrowind.ini.
Current path: C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Morrowind.
Any help would be extremely appreciated.
Also, nice to meet all of you.
EDIT: I tried installing the update, didn't help. Also, I looked at the Morrowind.ini and it has nothing about fonts in it. o.O;

Ok, I opened Morrowind.ini and this is what it had in it:
[General]
Editor Starting Cell=
Editor Starting Pos=0.000000,0.000000,16384.000000
Editor Starting Dir 0=1.000000,0.000000,0.000000
Editor Starting Dir 1=0.000000,-0.000000,1.000000
Editor Starting Dir 2=0.000000,-1.000000,-0.000000
Subtitles=0
[Game Files]
GameFile0=Morrowind.esm
I dunno if this helps or not... maybe if someone could send me their .ini file, or one off of a freshly installed Morrowind, it would fix it? I just want to play it again is all...
Edit: Ah, sorry, I meant to just edit the first post, sorry.
Reinstalled and it works, sorry for the trouble

I had the same exact problem. You should've looked around in this forum for it. *shame*
burnation, once again you have stunned me with the tradition of doom
when the game was installing, it must have messed up the file, or you did my accident.
