Problem when starting game this problem sucks >.<

:ranting: So whenever I click play from the screen it loads and then an error of something like creation "" pops up and it closes the game altogether.. i dunno what to do and i was wondering if anyone else has had this problem

I had something like that happen to me and i just tried again and it worked have you tried since it gave you the error message. I think it has something to do with another program running.

It would seem there are missing files needed to initialize either the cutscene or the game itself. I would reinstall and try again. Update all your drivers, too.

First, if you do a forum search on "render creation error" you'll find some threads that possibly will help, my 2 cents though... it might be a desktop resolution issue, which could be one of two things, try setting the "color quality" on display properties, settings, to a lower setting if you have it at 32 for example, or try lowering the screen resolution on the same dialog box. Similarly, you might also try changing the resolution of morrowind itself, by running the executable and going to options from the menu screen. Also, run dxdiag and make sure your directx files haven't become corrupted.
