More screenshots have popped up at Spore Source (the German one!). They're mainly creature shots, and quite spiffy ones too. I've added these to the gallery.

In other news, GamersGlobal have a five page preview of Spore up, since they're yet another one of the lucky press groups to get some hands-on time with the game. It covers all five phases of the game in some detail, including the following snippet:

I was thinking of that as well, it's good they added it. Otherwise parents might get angry when they see their child exploring a planet with penis monsters...
