It would seem EA is taking... well, a positive attitude towards Spore from one point of view. A quote from the CEO John Riccitiello from a conference call on Wednesday:

"We will make the choice of shipping a better game than an on-time game given the high potential for this franchise."

Though apparently he still says that he expects the game to ship in the "March, April, May" 2008 timeframe. Is this more teasing I wonder? Will it be Fall '08? Then Spring '09 and so on? We will have to wait and see. Still, it's good that they want to finish the product properly instead of making a rushed glitchfest release like we so often see these days.

Well...I don't think it will be Spring '09. It'll be out before then. Yes, I, too, am glad they're not releasing it before it's done. However, I do hope it'll be out soon.

I don't like how game sites are not updating there pages like GAME there release date is still set on September although I want that to be the release date i don't want a half made game.

i would have to say around fall 08, though i am glad they have a reason to delay the game unlike sometimes with publishers
