I was wondering if there is a command in the Consul to remove static objects like trees or chairs. The main reson for this is that I used the in game consul to place a large Telavani mushroom/spire in the middle of Balmora and found that after the novelty wears off the two types of archatexture don't realy go along together (it looks atrocious). So do you know any way to remove it?

This page (A.K.A. your Morrowind Bible) has a list of all the scripting commands you've ever wanted, but, since you just want to do one thing, I'll just refer you to this link in the scripting guide, which is the command you want.

Simple answer --
In game, you click the tilde button. This one. ~
The one in the top left corner of your keyboard, underneath escape. (Who uses that key anymore?!)
Anyway, you click on the object. In the top of the console that's opened, its ID should come up.
Type:
disable
Then, press enter/return.
POOF. Gone.
